Kurio Watch Messenger

Garbage! This crappy app renamed my phone and turned off Bluetooth media! Every time I connect in the car I have to go to settings and turn on media to play music over my car stereo. That and it doesn't even work! I could send messages to my kids watch but she couldn't see my response to her messages. That and I continually get random pairing requests from the watch, even after it's paired and no where near my phone! I was at work phones at home and I'm getting pairing notifications. Ugh I couldn't hate this app more. DO NOT INSTALL THIS!

For some reason the app has decided - rename my phone ! - disable audio for other Bluetooth speakers ! - not to use the system keyboard ! On top of this usability is very flawed. The watch also has incredibly low internal memory 10mb, so could only put 2 MP3s on it. Give it (the app and the watch) a wide berth.

This Kurio smart watch sucks. Don't waste your money. I thought this would be a good way to stay in contact with my son if anything during the day needed to be addressed. Bluetooth connection drops. When calling my phone it asks for MY phone's password?

Difficult to connect and can't chat with your kids unless they are next to you.

I have 2 boys, can only be connected to one at a time and must be in close proximity with them for it to work

Bluetooth connection is terrible on the watch. What is the point of messaging if you have to sit right next to your kid? My phone keeps freezing too.

This app sucks! Does not stay connected to the watch, messenger keeps crashing, trouble sharing pictures, and just an overall waste of time and money.

Guys it dose work on my phone just check it out turn on Bluetooth and go in to the thing and it will say search for drives and there its done and thank u for this app its great

I loved it because you dont need a phone u can use tablet and you can vhat with family! Get this app!

Horsesiht, I thought it was a way to track, communicate, and fun for her to record videos, pics, etc...she was excited, I had the app downloaded and we started the syncing and texting in the same room. She ran to her room and the connection was lost. It didn't sync automatically when she came back upstairs. Do yourself a favor, return the watch immediately, I bought her a cheap prepaid cell phone for $35 total. My tech savvy 8 year old, and she's learning technological Android OS...fa-q kurio fa-Q

I was excited to get these watches for both of my kids to replace the VTech ones. But it kind of sucks. I can't talk to them unless they are right next to me. Come on! I regret spending me money on these.

App doesn't work, can't connect to either of my son's watches even while sitting right next to the watch. Thought this would be an alternative to a cell phone but was sadly disappointed. Watches do connect to each other but only up to so many feet!! Don't waste your money if you're looking for a way to connect with your kid while they are away from you.

Just a toy!!!!! My daughter was really disappointed first time she used it. You have to be right next to watch to send a message, even a talkie walkie is better.

It is waste of money. The maker need to find a way for it to use wifi.

App keeps closing...I can't send a message to my kids. My 7&5 yr olds like the watch though.

App constantly freezes and shuts itself down and Bluetooth can't find paired devices from less than 2 feet away

I have two boys that got the watch for Christmas and I can only connect with one at a time .. I also wish it was able to call even if it's thru Wii fi .. other then that it's really good . App works great just wish we could be more accessible with both not one just one .. Hope this comment can help for future development for kids .. I have a 6 ,5 and 2 so I would hope to be able to get three n they can text from anywhere to each other and me .

Big dissapiontment my daughter saved up for 5 months to buy this watch and its nothing more than a watch the app doesnt work and i have a great smart phone with great internet and wifi and still it wont scan to find . She is devistated to spend all that time to save and for what she can do more on her cheap 30$ tablet than this peice of junk what a waste of money kurio should be ashamed of themselves robbing little children like this .

I downloaded the app because many of the bad reviews are from people who seem to misunderstand how Bluetooth works. However, I cannot connect to either of my children's watches via the app or in my phone's settings. The app is useless.

Doesn't work. Can't find watch. No instructions. 10 year old coded this app.

Pain to set up but works fine. Have to pair like any other Bluetooth device.

I bought the watch from my 10yr old daughter's bday. I thought it wld be a great way for us to communicate with each other when her school bus is running late. Unfortunately the Bluetooth disconnects when she's not in my immediate area.
