Delta Taxis

I just called delta line to book a taxi, a lady answered and ask of my address for which I gave it to her, she then asked of the name of the building and unfortunately I don't know the name of the building because I am new to the office and I only knew the post code and address, I tried explaining myself to her that I have previously used delta services for about two weeks by just providing with the address and post code. This lady was so rude and just ended the call by saying sorry you can't use our servic

The app crashes a lot also you can't end the app using the app browser because it doesn't show up last time I'm ordering a taxi because I'm tired of the bugs and the owners inability to invest some money into a decent app

Won't register me an account. Claims server error has done this consistently over my last 6 phones.. Pure and utter crap

The app itself seems to work fine but boy does it kill your battery. If I manually kill the app after each use it is spot on but I shouldnt need to do that.

Great drivers. But if you have a problem customer service is rubbish no phone line for customer service which I think is illegal. Use other taxi firms far better customer service than delta

Rubbish tried to access old account kept saying password or log in were wrong but could reset password so tried to make a new account and app kept crashing useless easier to ring them direct

Never finds your location even when manually entering the address. Even when it shows up correctly on the map it sends the wrong address to delta.

Awesome app. Used it all weekend in Liverpool. Worked every time and you get priority over phone calls

Works well enough but stays open in the background and constantly hammers GPS. Will reinstall it if this problem is fixed.

Doesn't shows up in the recent apps, so have to go to the apps menu and run it from there. Also sometimes hangs on the login screen during 'updating terms' and 'finding the address', have to force close to rerun. Also updates on cabs location are a bit slow. Otherwise amazing app, love it.

It used to work quite well, but now I'm getting a PickupAreaBusyError that doesn't let me make a booking. And it doesn't update when I am given a taxi, so I end cancelling the booking, but then when I checked my email later I found out a taxi had been sent. Honestly, this app is making you lose money, Delta

It doesn't appear in recent screens, the pin doesn't work very well as it sends taxis a mile down the road each time, GPS tracking doesn't seem functional. Worst of all is the battery drain, I don't understand why for such a small app. I just call up now.

Poor app compared to ones provided by rivals. Customers can make too many booking errors and also not feature rich like rivals apps.

I absolutely love this app but it for some reason no longer allows me to log in! There's no password reset button and no help contact. I've tried to register with 3 different email addresses and it just says server error . I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times but it makes no difference.

Updating terms and conditions... for 6 days! Can't reset password if you don't know your password. Sort out your app!

This is truly awful, put yourself in the shoes of someone who just wants a taxi, you open this thing and its one if the ugliest and most confusing things you have ever seen, you eventually figure out you need to register, oh you can't because of "error". Care to give me a clue, nope, just " error". Right OK close, delete and open uber. Sorry but you guys have lost the game and will continue to with this awful app, overhaul is necessary to make your investment useful in any form!

Very good app for ordering the taxis through delta, just two things one is their is no reset password option from what I can find and two if the GPS is turned off on the phone it doesn't ask the user do you want to turn it on even though it is trying to use it.

Poorly made app that randomly logs you out, loads forever and wont start, and forgets your address so you have to search for it again and again...also searching for an address is truly awful, cant find many well known roads and places? Very odd but does do the job eventually after some frustrations.

Perhaps it's the quality of the company, but it can take very long to find a taxi. The gps system is not working properly, waiting at one point and showing another. Also have booked taxis that never showed up. Will choose another company.

Looks truly awful and kills the battery. Does work though.

Generally a useful app, but poorly programmed. Doesn't always close down properly. Gets stuck on 'updating terms and conditions'.

When I works its brilliant but I have had to delete and reinstall on more than one occasion. It's usually quicker to ring them... Although I also have the Apple version on my iPad and have had no problems at all with it so maybe it's an android problem?

When waiting for a car to be allocated, the map shows my house being on the west coast of Ireland for some reason. Also the fare estimator doesn't work. This app is way behind the likes of the app provided by Alpha. I use Delta if I need a car fast but if I'm not in a rush, I will always use Alpha because their app is fantastic. Delta need to get a grip on things and sort this app out as I can't be the only one who has these issues.

I've tried using this app a few times until I realised you can't register if you're using an Xperia z phone. It just says "server error" a few people have noted this. Doesn't help when you get turned down over the phone and told to use the app when it's not accessible to everyone.

Nice looking app, but took multiple attempts to get it to recognise my address then quoted £79.48 for a max £15 journey, might I recommend wirral satellite cars instead.

App drains battery quicker than anything else on phone, including navigation! Draws so much current/cpu load that phone (SGS3) becomes hot in your hand! Buggy, rebranded MT Data - As usual Delta has tried to save money! They should use all those £4 a week insurance payments that they've taken from drivers for years, WITHOUT FSA approval/regulation, kept hold of and not actually paid to an insurer, to fund something better! Very disappointing!

It was good when it first started but now I wouldn't depend on it to get priority service, since before xmas I have been late for work every Sun as having to wait at least 1/2 an hr which has made me start ringing another firm as I can't depend on Delta. As with all company's they start something, make you promises & then cant keep to them. Disappointed with Delta as I have used them for many years & now find myself using other firms

Tried to Ihail from indoors - not a good idea from where I am in the concrete jungle, so because of this IHail was 100meters out - My Fault it does say in reviews you need a good gps connection for IHail to work perfectly which I didnt have, so just entered my actual address and within 5 mins picked up by Delta with No problems whatsoever, excellent!!! will use again

Cant register on my sony Xperia Z keeps saying server error. Please fix it

Great app does everything I need it to do. So easy ordering a cab , being able to track the oncoming driver too is really gud. I-hail is good but 99% of places in Liverpool are already in the directory so i find it as useful to use the pre-installed listings as this helps the drivers locate me quicker! W/ regards to prev comments regarding no info for rds that are pedestrianised I think it's pretty obvious as if you are out you can see with your own eyes what roads are accessible or not.

If a few little oddities could be fixed, this would get 5 stars. When selecting the pickup location, it is really useful to choose a preset address from the favourites but it is not possible to also select a destination address from the favourites. Also, there is an 'Estimate Fare' button that would be very useful for long journeys but it doesn't seem to work. At least on my phone, when I press this button the text changes but I can't read it as the text is greater than the button size. Agree with some other comments that the updating of the taxi location is quite slow and often the driver is sitting outside when the GPS shows it further away. It is overall a great app and a brilliant way of knowing your taxi has been assigned and is en route unlike most taxi companies who simply say the taxi will be with you as soon as possible and you have no idea what that actually means.

I've had 3 android phones and hasn't worked on any of them. It did work when it first came out, then after an update it hasn't. Keeps coming up server error.

Initially i had problems registering, that was solved by phoning Delta. Now I can log in I find it is a horribly written App! This is a prime example of a Developer coding an App without consulting a User. You can store 'Favourites' but then can't use them when booking a Taxi - what's the point of that?? Address search has 'Street name' and 'Unit'??? They need to copy the Uber App!

GPS stays active even if you force close the app. Can't run in the background either. I don't agree that the GPS issue has been fixed.

Worked well when I used it once, but destroys battery, 37% on a day when I didn't even open the app. Better to just call.

Fantastic for priority booking but drains battery far too quickly. Seems to run in background even if closed properly.

Free high priority taxis, can't go wrong. Easy to set up favourites and book in a couple of clicks. Definitely using this from now on.

Nice app, still heavily preys on GPS, even when in background. Dell Streak 5, ver 2.3.7.
