Doesn't work well. Slow, unreliable. Needs work.

You cannot book a new ride until you have rated the driver from your previous ride. I find it so annoying that I am tempted to give the drivers a 1 star regardless of how well they perform. Please remove this forced rating system. I am satisfied with the other aspects of the app.

App constantly zooms to your location, not the zoom out so you can see the distance your cab is. Does not give you an option to opt out of rating drivers, forces you to rate before next booking. And holy crap, booking a cab should not have a cheer sound. Checker should be cheering that we chose to use them. Really needs a rethink.

Since the update its been so bad. I used to use it all the time and never had a problem So not impressed with it now.

Driver had no idea where to go i had to jump out of cab then dispatch when i complained gave him my address i have never been so scared and they thought it was funny to hear an old man cry for his life

Not user friendly. Bad interface compared to the older app. You cannot make remarks of where you are located at all. Won't allow you to tap on the remark option.

Just garbage. After 4 different authentication codes failed Checker is checked out and off my phone. Waste of my time.

Takes anywhere from 2-15 minutes to open. Thought it was my phone, turns out it's the app itself. Terrible

Map doesn't come up and my numbered avenue in downtown can't be found. Totally pointless. Update: tried to use the app to prebook a car for today. At the requested time the app starts looking for a cab near you, and today I walked down to nearest main street and hailed one before the app could find me one

I used to use the app more frequently than I'd like to admit without issue. Since this new update I've had nothing but problems. Why mess with a good thing?

Can't even select car type in the app!! Booked my taxi to the airport the night before and put minivan in the notes section. There was four of us plus luggage. A sedan shows up in the morning. Called the call center to arrange for another car. They couldn't give an ETA! While figuring it out with the call center the cab leaves. Total mess. Ended up driving to the airport. I think it's time to move on. I don't want to have anything to do with a service provider that lives in 1970. Bye cabs. Hello Uber!

Well. It's now 3 years later and I can update my review. The app now works but it still pretty bad. Why are you forcing me to rate a drive I had weeks ago and can't remember. So I can't book a cab unless I give a driver review?

Update is terrible, has become less user friendly. Looks old and clunky. Driver rating system is good, but feels forced. Thought the old version was great.

I'm stuck downloaded app specifically for today to get home I even put location on and updated my password and I click login to book a cab and nothing happens need to login to book thanks app

The older version worked well. Now, the updated version won't let me sign in. It won't send me an email to tell me how to reset my password.

Doesn't work at all since most recent update. Early January update made it difficult to use effectively. Went to Uber to get a ride.

Stupid can't get anywhere on time

Since update this morning the app won't even open!!!! I used it everyday and couldn't even open it today.

For some reason it keeps saying I am using a Proxy and tells me to disconnect WiFi whenever I try to login using mobile data. I am on Virgin Mobile which uses the Bell data network. Would like to use this app, but until this is resolves will go to Associated and/or Uber

I booked a cab 1 day in advance and it never came. By the time I gave up and called a friend for a ride we ended up being an hour and a half late for the company Christmas party.

Been using checker for years. They're the only Calgary taxi service with more than a few cars in each area at a time. The app is easy and it works. I have no clue what other people's issues are, but I'm very pleased.

Makes ordering a cab so much harder then it needs to be. Couldn't add credit card to account. Just hangs after entering information.

Works pretty good. No more waiting on the phone which is nice. Entering an address is a pain. GPS locating is alright but not perfect. Uber is better but this is a good start.

Not only does it this app look hideous, it behaves so poorly I have to minimize my keyboard to tap a new line for every entry. Booking a cab doesn't give any sort of confirmation either on screen or via email. How awful.

Sometimes works, but you never know. May not book a cab, may book multiple. Where did Uber go?!?

Can't create registration. Says server error and no further details.

Whats the point of locating me on a map if I still have yo enter address and city manually? Doesn't compete with Uber

Great sometimes to fast

Just downloaded the app and tried for first time for a trip from City Hall. Loved it! Able to see where the cabs where in my area and watch it come close. Quick and super easy to use.
