Adelaide Independent Taxis

The major update is an improvement but the app overall is still terrible. No material design, convoluted, unintelligent. No wonder Uber and Lyft are rightfully killing the taxi industry.

I have tried to register using 3 different phones. A new glitch every time! Can't even make it to the booking screen!

Downloaded app, clicked the registration button, filled in all necessary details an I have been trying several times to register my details an pop up keeps saying server error

It's really useful and professional, i can book anytime i need.

The app first requires an obscene amount of permissions, including to the camera, for no transparent reason and then present you with a disclaimer that there is no guarantee that any booking you make will even be put into the system, let alone actually made on your behalf. The app feels like a rushed attempt thrown together for minimum money in a failed attempt for the company to try and appear modern. Sadly, given the absurd lack of effort put in, I do not feel like I could trust the app to reliably work.

Order a taxi for 3am, didn't turn up, left me stranded! Not ideal if you are a single woman.

My go to app when traveling in Adelaide. Only ever experienced quick responses and definitely much more user friendly and less prone to glitches than the Silver Service taxi app for Sydney.

Not only did we not get a taxi, but the app itself us nearly unusable. Slow response times and has buttons that seem to do literally nothing.

Have used this app regularly for a whole year and can rely on punctual cabs, pleasant drivers and clean cars for work purposes - of particular inportance is my frequent early morning flights interstate. Now the app doesnt seem to work and is extremely frustrating so im giving up

I was a little apprehensive after reading the reviews, I had booked a relatively short trip and was worried the taxi would not turn up. Not only was my driver on time but he was happy, friendly and provided great conversation. Excellent service cannot fault it!

App is usable, but could definitely do with some improvements. Biggest shortcoming I have is that I cannot enter a letter for the street number. Eg "5/23A Something St" cannot be set as the pickup address.

The app returned an error after I entered all information needed. Happened several times and I never could book a taxi using the app.

Excellent, phoned for a cab, it arrived 10 mins later, will definitely tell others and use it again.

It's really useful and professional, i can book anytime i need.

Came up with an MiscError message when trying to book.

Highly recommend this. I have used this app about a dozen times now to both book a taxi and hail a taxi and every single time a taxi comes right on time.app is also very simple to use

I didn't get past the disclaimer. no guarantee is made that the order will be processed and all responsibly for a taxi not arriving lies with the customer. True colours on customer service.

The ihail function showed that a vehicle was available within a minute, but none turned up even after 10 minutes. Ended up with a migraine and a toddler in full meltdown mode after a miserable quarter hour in biting winds. Finally took the bus... Should have taken it in the first place!

The app didn't even have my street in it's system.

Taxi kept getting further and further away, each time the app would tell me that the job was accepted, and the taxi would be another 500m away. Doesn't work and is a waste of time.

FFS!! How long does it take to register? 3 bars on my battery and 15 minutes later I'm still waiting. Uninstalled.

As I had an early flight I pre booked the night before for a 0515 pick-up. Cab never turned up. Frankly that is just pathetic. No point offering this app if this is going to happen.

Often will not even open or log into server. Very frustrating for an important ap.

App works fine but company is unreliable often providing delayed cabs for very advanced bookings... as a regular user of cabs I expect better service.

The app is good, lets the driver know where you want to go. I like the email option too to let you know the taxi is on their way. The only problem is that the taxi service sucks. They can see where you want to go and if they don't think its worth it then they wont even bother to turn up. The first time I used this app the driver came quickly and was very nice. The second time no driver turned up, waited 4 hours. I wont be using this taxi service again. The app works though.

I like this app because I don't have to make that awkward drunk phone call for a taxi. It's easy to order a taxi and they send you an email when the taxi is 1km away! Great work!

On way email service don't work app is ok no taxi mapping or tracking but don't rely on a taxi being on time.  

I've used this several times now on a Galaxy S3 and taxi has always arrived punctually.

A frustrating and confusing interface where the back button simply logs out, you can't pick favourites for destinations and you have to scroll!?! to find suburbs and streets. I am looking forward to future updates to make this more user friendly.

Awesome app, used it a few times and it works a treat. Would recommend it to everyone.

Cannot specify a letter unit 'number', eg. "12A"

24 hours and still pending. Cmon integrate this with your despatch system.

Worked for a few bookings no problems, now gets stuck on a loading streets screen

Made a booking yesterday for a taxi, it's been more then 12hrs and booking is still pending. Bunch of monkeys working there I supposed
