MTB Project

App opens with US map, not my current location. Takes way too many touches to load current location. No sortable way to view trails in difficulty or distance. Could be a good app, but too clunky, too many steps.

Really like this app for finding new areas around my location (SF bay area). Lot's to be had that I didn't know existed!

OMFG! I found the trail i used to ride with my way more experienced buddies! But since I was so many yrs ago & we were usually drunk & or it was at night... Just wow! Amazing!

What REI lacks in keeping good gear in stock they make up for with this app. Simple, easy to use, nothing more. Solid graphics, excellent information. One of the best free apps I've ever used.

This app is a great start but it lacks some functionality that is found on the web site, like uploading trails and other similar edits, (live tracking/guiding, ala Strava without the times - which I don't care about). Once they sort that out, it will be the best thing out there.

Excellent MTB trail finding app. Trails are described and have elevation and length figures. Not all trails in my area are on the map, but otherwise excellent.

This is a very well designed app. The interface is great! I've found trails locally that I otherwise didn't know about, including reviews and photos.

App is terrible. Crashes constantly. Takes forever to download a trail area. Trailforks is much better.

Great app alot of good info. I just wish there was someway I could transfer my data from my s health acct that I use to track my rides to make new trips on the app

And it keeps getting better...the functionality and amount of trail information is far superior to outings from other trail apps with major names. It is my go to source for seeking new ride locations.

It goes everywhere with me, I've discovered trails I never knew where there and ridden trails I will never forget. Update with offline map could be a literal life saver one day.

0% trails in my country (Scotland) and my friends ride plenty in summer time

Probably one of the most efficient apps I have ever seen. Within 5 minutes of use I had researched the 3 states I visit most often and decided on a new trail to try this weekend. I would encourage others to submit/upload more trails (ex: nice trail.in Austintown OH). I will find how so I can contribute tribute. Well done!

Simply the most useful app for mountain bikers. I have used the app for a while, and haven't found anything wrong with it.

I've tried a number of mtb apps but have been disappointed with them, that is until I found MTB project. So far I like it a lot.

It's a great app but I wish the trail names were larger so you can read them when you're out in the sun.

Trail information is important as it's not something you can just go to a parks website and find out. By mtn bikers, for mtn bikers. I've found so many great trails because of mtb project.

Downloaded this app 5 min ago. It has crashed every time I tried to open it.

Use it in Colorado just fine but won't download New Mexico, stops at 33%. Tried clearing data, uninstall and re install to no avail.

Good, but no in ride trail navigation. Extremely useful for finding new trails in your area

I would like to be able to add trails, I know several next to home that aren't mapped and I could send the profiles. Other than that it's great

Best thing since tubeless tires. Awesome for finding trails when you're in a new area. Can also get you out when you're lost.

This is a fantastic resource for finding and navigating new trails. I'd like to be able to record and submit a ride with the app, requires mapping data from another app.

I presume this app works well in other countries but in the UK there's are only 8 trails (I think) on the app, so I use apps that show in official trails

Great app and website is useful for its videos. New to an area? This is an awesome way to find new trails. And its free on top of it all!

Great app, If your new to biking or your going to a new area this app tells you where a trail is, how hard it is and the rating for it, the directions to get their, the direction you have to ride on the trail itself, and more.

When we visit family in other parts of the country we can now bring our mtn bikes and have trails to ride.

Such a good app. So useful. Great everything. Great that you can download huge areas for road trips and that the GPS and route finding work well

This is an amazing app. Went to Washington state for family trip. Found local trails through this app. Rented a mt bike and had blast. Using this app for bucket list rides.

Pretty useless for the UK. Very few routes are covered.

LOVE this app! Makes finding trails and riding my bike so much easier! An absolute must have for any MTB rider!

Whenever I'm looking for new singletrack this is my go to. Thanks IMBA for creating this fantastic APP.

One of my favorites is Surrey hills and it's not included, but is included on the open cycle maps.

Awesome app for finding and reviewing trails in specific or general areas. The user added info is excellent for finding the perfect trail for any occasion.

Well done! Great to have when exploring a new area on a trip away from home. I have used it many times and it's perfect.

Zoomed out view has bubbles with #'s of trails in that area, near a certain city, but as you zoom in, the bubbles go away and sometimes the trails are literally 2-3 hours from that area initially indicated. Plus, many trails in my area are not listed, I haven't found any easy way to add a trail to the map either. If that could get fixed, 5 stars.

The "Must-Have" App for every mountain biker! Trail descriptions are excellent, driving directions help get you to the trailhead and the graphic trail maps are accurate. Users update trail conditions, which is always helpful. Especially in the spring when trail conditions can vary greatly between southern front range and northern front range trails. I use this app every time I ride.

This is a great app. With it being user based, super accurate reviews and maps had taken a bit of time. But I've been using this app for over a year now and I love it. It just keeps getting better and better. The one time I had a glitch, the developers were very responsive on figuring it out to get it fixed. The developers are great and with more and more prior using it and adding to it this app just keeps getting better.

For peeps who don't want to spent their days inputting waypoints. It tracks you vs a vs the map and lets you find your way back when off track as happened repeatedly on an underused trail at Golder ranch above tuscon. Now gotta get it on my chest in some kind of pouch so I can grab it to look easily. Mountain biking is too risky for a bar mounted smartphone.

You need to incorporate trails with avaliable camping. Like a camping icon or instead of a black spot with a number in it make it a different color and then when the trails pop up it would show you were there's trail camping or camping really close to the trail.
