Messenger Lite

I LOVE it. At first the advertisements were annoying. But after purchasing for ad free it was great. If you buy ad free and still get adds, unstall then reinstall, and they should go away. At least it worked for me. And check it out, Messenger Facebook-139 MB, Facebook-466 MB, Messenger Lite-1.75. A lot less space and just as good as Facebook & Messenger. No, the lot less space makes it better.

Excellent alternative to storage hogging Messenger Facebook tries to mandate people to use just to check their messages when denied via browser. Can't go wrong with this - installs with only a few megabytes, works wonderfully to check and reply to messages, simple, easy to navigate, overall interface well designed!

Pops up an ad every time you switch between the feed and the messenger. On top of that, I downloaded this hoping it'd be a MESSENGER replacement, I'm not trying to replace the Facebook app because I don't use it. Misleading.

Worst app.. When we try to chat with someone, an add appears above keypad due to which we are not able to see what we are writing. It may be a very good app when add will be removed after that it will be able to get 4 stars.

Love the things the app let's you do, and appreciate the'lite' application. Would be nice to save photos & videos. Would be nice to make messenger phone calls & video calls. I'm still learning the app, but I'm really pleased with it's capabilities so far. Good job!

Its a gud app, but please remove the ads, i just hate it.. 3 star for now.

I was so pleased to have found a good alternative to the bloated Messenger app but that was short lived as this app is complete unusable since the tiny text box is completely covered by an ad that you can't get rid of, making typing anything impossible. Pointless app, got rid.

its nice, but sometimes some apps, if they update, cant open. but anyway this is good for now.

This is a pretty good app. If the adds annoy you, just pay the nominal fee for ad-free and should be cool. Like it a lot so far. Love how little memory it take up. That was a big draw for me.

Loved it.... I was searching for an alternative of messenger and got exactly the thing i wanted.....it has got ads,which gets annoying sometimes but its fine a little unstable but that's OK....overall i m satisfied its good app really...

Please remove adds...... This app can be used in the place of facebook app.... But it is not very useful for messaging.. There is some minor problems in this app including advertisement if these are removed it will deserve ☆☆☆☆☆. So please remove ads..

I hate too many ads. I can't see anything properly.

Seems like a decent app but would not let me take/add a photo to post on my wall. Like they forgot to program that button. Uninstalled.

So bad app. Working very slow even with good internet connection.

Had to return after discovering that notifications are either all on, or all off. Can't turn off notifications for Facebook notifications, but continue to receive Facebook message notifications, taking app all the way from potentially-amazing down to pointless or disruptive.

Adverts lag even my S7 whilst using it... Every time it reloads a new advert, it will cause the entire phone to hang for several seconds.

It works, but sometimes the ADs covers up the area you get to type in. It hard to type a message in with stubby fingers and you keep hitting the AD.

How can you type in your chat with this nonstop popping ads? So much disappointed to this app

It's a little inconvenient having to log in into my fb account in order to use this app.

Lot of bugs...need to improve alot. Let's hope Maybe further updates may slove those issues.

I like the small size of the app, but not being able to enable/disable notifications for Facebook/Messages separately makes it less useful as a messenger replacement

To do the Copy option on in-app messenger is impossible! Can't even forward a message!

Would be great if ads didn't block part of the app! Try to message someone and it blocks u from seeing last line of message... Needs improvement/fixed.

It does the job. It usually would scroll all the way up when you exit a post. Otherwise, a generally good app. Certainly good for the space it takes up, which is less than 15 megabytes.

The adds cover the message box making messages impossible

It is just waste of data ,very slow even at hogh speed internet

And yet again another "lite" app with no post button when sharing if your going to be lite , try not to miss the important buttons out.. Lol

I love the lite apps but why is it that I can NEVER get the share button to work from different websites and also I HAVE NEVER gotten the upload images button to work.

I does not give any notifications that if there is any message or not

Basically, I just want a messenger lite app that doesn't drain battery. I can't even see what I'm typing last your Google ads.

It has saved me space and without having as much permissions. Fb and messenger together, it's awesome! Well, so far..

Ads don't let you see what you're typing. Awful.

I don't like it that the ads panel cover half the messenger text box that you are supposed to type in. I'm uninstalling this and looking elsewhere.
