Rudhira - Emergency App

This application can be used in case of emergency.With a single tap the app sends a emergency message to 3 predefined contacts with your exact location in the message.The application has 3 other options -
1)Shout Out(send emergency message to 3 people)
2)Calls 108
3)Searches the nearby location for hospitals and shows the result in google maps

Rudhira (blood in Sanskrit) is a national campaign to fight and alter the ever present negative attitude toward blood donation in India through education, creation of tools and action. The initiative intends to create a team of volunteers - the blood soldiers- committed to saving lives by donating blood regularly and willing to travel to save lives in medical emergencies.

Recently, the campaign gained momentum via Rudhira 1.0 a free mobile app that provides an easy interface between users and the volunteer army nicknamed blood soldiers to save lives.

Note - To show nearby hospitals the application uses Google Maps.So Google Maps must be installed on your phone to use that feature
