Official New York Rangers App

Used to be the best app for Rangers fans & I used it everyday & the widget was perfect for following scores. After the last update it has been transformed into a mere link to download NHL app which I don't want because there are 29 teams I don't give a shot about & of course awesome widget is gone

This was the best app for a Rangers fan. I used it almost every day. Now when you click on the app it just brings you to the NHL site and that's it. I am so disappointed. PLEASE PUT THE APP BACK THE WAY IT WAS! There is a old saying "If it is not broken DO NOT fix it" I am now deleting the app.

What's the purpose of having a team app when it will just bring you to the NHL app??? Now I'm going to delete the Rangers app since there's no point whatsoever in having it if it just brings me to the NHL app while wasting memory on the phone. Just horrible. Go back to the way it was!

I don't want to see my team through the NHL app! Change it back now!!! I don't care about all of the other crap. I only want my old Rangers app back... very unhappy with this. Thumbs down in a big way. IT SUCKS!

I already have the NHL app and don't need it on my devices twice. This was the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Bring back the team apps for the whole league. WAKE UP NHL RANGER FANS ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES WHO HATE THIS!!!!!!!

The old app was great, individual rangers specific information. Now same old canned NHL crap. I blame Gary bettman.

This app sucks now since you merged it with the nhl app. Its aweful why would you do this. You took a good thing and made it crap. Why even promote it as the ny ranger app when its not ?!! If you dont put it back to the way it was then im deleting it.

Deleting off my phone. Linking to NHL in order to use you damn app. Stupid and unnecessary. Not wasting extra space on my phone. Who ever thought this was a good idea is an ass.

Why would i need this app anymore if it just makes me use the NHL app? I used to love this app and used it almost every day during hockey season but guess i will just go online now. I thought the point of an app was to make things simpler, not more complicated

Pointless to have the NHL app with your team logo. Being able to discuss and comment on your team with fellow fans was the best part that I miss since NHL did their takeover. Will NHL listen to the fans? Nope. Disgusted.

App people: why did you change it? I loved the NYR app. Now it's a stupid NHL app. I don't want to know about the NHL and I don't want all their ads and stuff. I just wanted my beloved NYR. #UpdateFail

I thought this was the NY Rangers App, apparently it's just the NHL app with a different logo. Wanted to be able to see the roster and other things which you can't do with the NHL app. This is horrible.

App was great for years, was trying to find the widget on my home screen and come to find out it makes you download the nhl app. Deleting and will NEVER use again. Good bye.

I used this app almost every day n now I have to use the NHL app... I just want the RANGERS app n the rangers only....this app will Jo longer be in my phone....so mad right now....

the Rangers app that was run on its own and not a part of the NHL app. was 100 times better. easier to navigate, more interactive box scores better looking. and more geared towards Rangers fans

ONE STAR MEANS "HATED IT" The Rangers app was much better last year than this year it stinks! I love the Rangers but hate the app so I'm uninstalling it now! :'•( Bring back the old app it was much better

I loved the NYR app which I checked all the time. Now it's a generic NHL app. I don't want to know or care ro know about anything other than the Rangers. I'm deleting the app. Huge disappointment.

This is BS I usually use this as every day now all of a sudden I got I install the NHL app just so I can get this I might as well just use ESPN this is definitely getting deleted off my phone what a shame

I used to get score updates on my phone, which I loved. Now all of a sudden, I am not getting them. I try to open the app and now I am prompted to download the NHL APP and I don't want to. It stinks.

The app was fine. The NHL forcing every team to use the same layout for their website/app is typical Bettman tyranny.

Doesn't even work. Just takes you to the NHL app download screen. Pointless to even have it. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!

I tried...hate the new app and update. I can only recommend this app to Islander fans. I am deleting it.

Came back to this app after getting rid of it due to all unnecessary permissions. Can't believe it's just a launcher to the NHL app. Seriously NYR there's no point in this app as you can set up the NHL app to load on the same screen this app takes you too.

Here are a few reasons: The right side of the screen is cut off on my samsung galaxy and it's just not accessible. No calendar. Have to scroll forever to get a schedule. Then it's a list, not a calendar, and starts back in October so its scroll again. Why did you mess with a good app?

The NHL has taken over this app. This app now just asks you to download the NHL app. NOT HAPPENING. I curse those responsible.

Aside from the update being awful, I no longer receive push notifications on my watch. Please fix this feature and go back to the way it was!

Wow. Basically this app has turned in to a shortcut to the rangers page on the NHL app. What a joke. I have the NHL's app, why do I need this one now?

Was my favorite app ever. It gave me so much more "insider" news than Twitter could offer me. So now what's the point of having this app if it opens through the NHL app? Uninstalling this app

I'm an out of state fan, the old app could tell me what odd ball channels had the Rangers games. Crap!

What the hell is the point of having an app if it just links you to another app. Pure stupidity! I am sick of incompetent people making stupid decisions like this. They should be fired!!

I'm sure that the doofas that approved this change is liking his new career choice as a garbage collector (sorry garbage collectors) but, I hope the new guy/girl is working tirelessly to GIVE US OUR DAMN APP BACK! LET'S GO RANGERS! POTVIN SUCKS!
