MSG GO

This is not a shot at the application developers, this is directed at the fact that there are only two participating providers available to stream. This in a New York City market where there are plenty of other options available and most city residents can't even get Xfinity or Comcast as a provider. Any excuse given is a weak attempt to avoid the truth which is that MSG is being greedy.

Only 2 providers? Deplorable. Don't tell me it's not up to you MSG. You own the content and sell it. It is 100% your call and we the fans suffer. Not even league pass wants to pay ur awful highway robbery prices.

Only 2 TV providers, no Chromecast support & it looks like it was built for Android 4.1 (Ice Cream Sandwich). That was 4 years ago. I'm sure you guys can do much better than this.

Why am I not able to watch Knicks games on my tablet away from home. Yes I'm local unless Brooklyn, NY is in California. I am an optimum subscriber and I get the msg channel at home. On my tablet E no live game only post game. I get a quick error: error loading content from server

App works as I do have one of the limited providers. I have the app on my phone and tablet but was totally bummed that screen casting was blocked for live video. I travel alot for work and love to catch the games, it's not like I'm not paying for the tv!*Update - I tried to watch games on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 but it won't even open. Keep getting error message that it's having trouble loading setup info. *Still unable to watch on tablet what a disappointing app, MSG could do much better!!! MSG Go help sux

Please update this app for android it unfortunately is the worst streaming app. Theres is frequent frezzing thats on a fast wifi network and witb clearing the cache. But many time it just wont open . No other app behave like this one. Please test and update

NHL now allows streaming thru network apps. FOX Sports go streams the games on their regional networks. MSG needs to step it up and put up the Devils and Rangers games. NHL allows it so that's an MSG Network issue. This is the first year NHL has allowed it.

I was looking forward to watching some Knicks game when I went on vacation so I downloaded this app. The problem is it only has 2 providers. I have Verizon FiOS so I couldn't watch any games.

I figured out how to change it but I can't edit my last post it is worth 5 Stars if you have Optimum Online. But each provider gives you different stuff. I don't love Optimum. It's very expensive. I should get more channels. But this application is excellent. I hope to check it out to see if it gives you a pregame show in the future

If I pay for cable, I should be able to stream to my TV that doesn't have a cable hookup in that room or when travelling. Generally grainy picture on cellular and WiFi networks. App desperately needs an update visually.

Shocking that MSG is only available with 2 b.s. providers. Now they'll claim it's the other guys' fault, but it's funny how every other single sports network has worked well with all providers. Such a disappointment for die hard NY sports fans who have moved out of the Northeast. Didn't expect anything less from that greedy s.o.b. Dolan. How the heck can you guys keep advertising to get MSG go when you only have MSG providers able to view the content in this app I'm so looking forward to when Dolan sells the team to someone who cares about Ranger fans that's not subscribed him one of his cable services. I read most of the reviews call MSG keeps on saying is they are in talks with other providers looks like they've been a talk with other providers was instituted in Google. Google should take this app down because MSG is lying to the people who download this app with other providers

I have Direct TV and pay for MSG and can't use the app or watch online via Direct TV. I may need to change my loyalty to other programming and teams who want to be watched by paying customers.

Phone does not go into full screen and is cropped out. Terrible uninstall.

How does it make sense to ask for my current location. Of course Im not in New York. Thats why I downloaded this app, so I can watch the game when im not there. Idiots.

You can only watch it if you have an optimum provider. I understand why people without optimum would be upset. But besides from that, it works really well

Used to work great now it won't even get past the MSG logo. These guys used to run Cablevision which put out one of the worst apps of all time. I already uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail.You would figure after all these years they would put out a qualify product but all their interested in is a rate increase. JUNK!!! Still doesn't work I cleared the cache individually my OS is Marshmallow. Same story as last time I know more than most of their employees. Everything they asked me to do has already been done. Regarding a previous problem they sent me to a hidden optimum page that fixed it. Think about what I just said they use HIDDEN web pages from their so called valued customers. DISGRACEFUL!!!

How could only 2 strive providers have access to this and you can't show hockey. I can't use the NHL app because you black out the games and I can't use you because you don't have hockey and don't accept my service provider. You need to fix this. Or set it up that I can pay you directly also for the service then.

I was having issues with the app not opening, MSG responded to my complaint and advised me how to resolve my problem, thanks, now if they can add casting to the app for the next 2 stars

It's been close to already 4 years and TWC isn't a provider for this? Ridiculous I'm going to another provider this is trash. I want to watch my knicks and I can't do that unless I'm home. Thing is I'm never home. In the words of Charles Barkley Turrible

You've had the same providers for 2 years. What is the difference between MSG and someone like ESPN who makes all cables companies available? Is it all about money or about looking out for customers? I know the answer...

This app is useless if you don't have Comcast or Optimum. Very disappointing for Rangers or Knicks fans that want to watch their team away from home.

I have optimum and the app used to let me watch games but now it doesn't load passed the home screen. I haven't been able to watch a Knicks game for 2 weeks now. I need this to get resolved soon

Can you guys please get a deal done with TWC? It's a huge carrier in New York, pony up and make a deal. And yes, I will message them too, but C'mon! It takes two to tango, make it happen!

Very disappointed to see I couldn't watch Rangers games on MSG Go. Why make an app that the main team when MSG won't actually be on it.

First streaming app I've seen that doesn't support FiOS. Terrible.

Only 2 providers and its just for iphone and android, while i need it for appletv. Why wont you guys trade Knicks for Nets with the YES network. This is the trash I am forced to watch, a garbage team should be with a garbage network, move the Knicks to Bklyn. It makes me more mad because I just dropped about 600 dollars to see the Knicks at the Garden last week.

Why is there no chromecast support ? I can't even cast my screen to the TV. What explanation can there be for no chromecast support this late in the game. Can't watch my Knicks at home because I can't cast to the TV in my room. Upside is it streams well, good quality.

As far as I'm concerned. The only thing worth watching on msg is hockey and you don't have the Rangers games on here. What gives?

I can see why people complain but since I have optimum and downloaded to watch at work this app is very useful looking forward to tonight's game

Awesome I can watch the knicks through this app but add the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils! Why have a team filter if there's only one team to select from!

My service provider offers MSG but this app is saying otherwise.....Very frustrating!

I turned off notifications for the Knicks and am constantly getting notifications from this app.

Installed it before I read the fine print. What a joke. Sure..James Dolan can pay his flunkies to try to spin it as being the PROVIDERS fault. But the fact is, MSG has ONE team that are not perennial losers..and that is not about toe change any time soon. Yet they are still demanding a premium price from other providers as if this is the mid-90s (before Dolan took over and systemically destroyed MSG) and the Knicks, Islanders, Nets and Devils WEREN'T long time jokes. IT is simple...when your product is interior quality, you can't expect superior pricing. So again, it is Dolan showing that he doesn't care about the fans. Next, MSG Go will only be able to show Isiah Thomas 24-7! Or let's watch Larry Brown count all the money that he is STILL getting that required Dolan to raise Cablevision rates to pay for! Next on MSG Go! And no, MSG Flunky...I am not going to do YOUR dirty work and whine to my cable provider for not giving into your outrageous demands.
