Mr. Number-Block calls & spam

Love this app. I was getting calls at least every other day. I work nights and would often have spam calls wake me up. Now I feel like I'm back in control. One by one blocking numbers and best of all some numbers have already been reported so they never make it through at all. I just see it later when I check my history. So awesome. No problems yet. Just be sure to look throuh the settings to make sure it handles the callers the way you want it to.

Since the recent update the call log doesn't update and calls/texts aren't being blocked. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app 5 times in the last four days and still no resolve to its issues. I emailed support on 5/8/17 and still no answer. At one point I loved this app becausr there was nothing lime it and it served its purpose but now it just takes up space on my phone. Please fix these issues.

This is a Beautiful App Mr. Numbers Really Works Great Blocks Spam phone calls and text Spam. Check it every day and you'll see all the numbers Phone and Text that it blocks. It Show day by day Showing you what Call you make and what Calls were Blocked. One thing I would like to see the creators do, Is add a Text Feature. Bye bye app. I submitted the following issue to tech support. No contact has been attempted by them. So, because of no contact or even an acknowledgement of my submission I'm changing my rating to 1 star. The app takes at least 30 seconds to load my previous caller list. I have contacted the author about this. No response. If they would fix this issue I would give it 5 stars.

I use it for every text and call i get but sometimes it takes to long for the reports to pop up and the biggest issues is texting sometimes it shows most of the time it doesn't. So i was using the website online line to check what doesn't show but all of a sudden today they changed there website doesn't work what gives with that? Otherwise great app

This app used to function extremely well when i had my lg g3 and g5 but sance i got my g6 it is almost like it is not even installed it will not even log incoming and outgoing calls. As it is non functional i will be deleting it. If it even is functional or there is something i am missing a reply or a message from the developers would be nice. Till than this app is gone from my phone.

Updated review: now 5 stars. new phone, moved mr number to it. Works great. The app has updated too, for the better! It now shows spam comments made by other users and I don't have to pay for that. Excellent app. .....My Old review: My phone s5 has ability to block numbers natively, but only allows 20 numbers on the list. I filled that quickly. Mr number makes it easy to add a number to a blocked list so I am not bothered by repeated calls from same company. I don't use the look up option. .. costs to much.!! Just go to my browser and do a Google search for free to identify the spammers.

Loved the app on my Nexus 6P. Not as effective as the native spam blocker in the Google Dialer but good. Updated to a Verizon Galaxy S8 and the shop no longer appears to do anything, like many other reviewers have also discovered. Uninstalled until the development team can fix the issue.

Seriously amazing I do not write reviews but this one deserved my time excellent integration with phones call system seamless really works like a charm. I was getting 4-5 scam calls a day unblocked numbers etc and that's after blocking over a 100 numbers this app fixed that.

This used to be my favorite app find, and now it doesn't seem to work at all. Calls from known spamers are ringing though just like any other call. When going into the app, that number is already listed as blocked. I can no longer find the setting of "what to do with blocked numbers." There once was the option to answer and hang up, preventing a voicemail. Please add an option like Google Voice, allowing a recorded message of "this number is not in service" to play to blocked callers.

This is the only time I've ever given an app a review. I work 3rd shift and kept getting awoken by annoying spam/telemarketing phone calls. This app stopped all of these!! I actually forgot I had it installed until I opened the app and seen how many calls it blocked for me! I would truly pay for this app if it weren't already free!!

Update: has not blocked a call for a month now. It also in my recent calls that my last call was a month ago. Lowered rating to one star. Not sure how else to get support suspected spam feature alone makes this app great and other features are equally useful. Would like to be able to look for more info during call

I hate the most recent update. My "recent" call logs doesn't show. I have to search through setting to find recent numbers. It was so much easier before. I get numerous telemarketing/spam calls. I add every one to the block list. My phone still rings/vibrates for about 5 seconds before it'll hang up. And 1 automated number gets thru even after I blocked it. Biggest thing I like is it shows if the number has been reported before.

Used to love this app. But I agree with so many others and their reviews. Allowing spam calls to get straight to your voicemail is frustrating and disappointing although the nice it doesn't ring at all. Plus people who are really blocked for a reason can still leave you unpleasant messages and texts. As soon as I find an app that does this I'll have to change.

DOES NOT BLOCK CALLS!! Used to be the best, now it's part of the problem. BRING BACK PICK UP/HANG UP! Who answers a number they don't recognize, anyway? Mr. Number gives you twice the annoyance with double notification that a rejected/reported number has left you a message. Mr. Number: you're now obsolete and part of the problem.

It's blocking calls but not text for Android 4.4.. I been using y'all for years but now since buying a new phone, Mr number is not working please, I don't want to use another app...Mr NUMBER IS THE BEST..UPGRADE FIRST PLEASE

This app simply doesn't work anymore, if it ever did. I'm getting scam calls repeatedly from the same number that come right through. The only numbers it actually blocks are numbers not on it's list that you specifically block-- and they can still leave voicemails. Useless.

Seems to be blocking fewer and fewer calls. I'll report some spammer and see several others have already reported.. .so why wasn't the number blocked? I get SO MANY of these damn calls and they make me want to commit murder. This app is the best I've found so far, but it still doesn't do enough

This app used to work good. It would block spam calls and they couldn't get through to me. Recently though, it lets all the annoying calls through and have to choose to block them manually after answering their call. If this isn't fixed soon I'll uninstall it. If it won't do what I expect it to do then it's a waste of my time and taking up space on my phone.

Take my email name and address off of my phone number nowwww!This is my personal information. T Mobile has my phone number listed as wireless caller only and said that you all are not suppose to be displaying my personal information onto my phone number. I did not give you permission to display my email name on my phone number or my name so take it off of my phone number. Everyone I call that use your app can see it. Take it off NOW! It is displaying Teebaby Jones. Why are you all displaying people email names.

Fantastic app, best of it's kind. Block & report spam. Stop calls & texts from unknown entities, or even everyone "not in my contacts". Invaluable! Bonus: For totally non-intrusive & silent operation, you can even turn off its alerts & notifications in app's settings. Thanks Hiya.

I like that it blocks spam but it would be better if the people we block could not send you a text message. I like the old option as well when the blocked person could either have no dialtone, hang up and a twxt message read to them block messaging is active. Please consider changing it because I don't want to get text messages from people I block from calling.

Been on this app for years and never had any problem with it until now. The calls in the call log are not loading up in the app. And block calls still come thru. It will show on my phone. Fix this bug and will rate 5 stars again. Until then 1 star for me.

I previously rated this at four stars however after having used it inotes that it allows numbers which have been designated in its database as spam to ring through. This is unacceptable and deserves a failing grade. Fortunately my Samsung phone and my ESET Mobile Security have call blocking features the one good thing about mr. Number however is it shares with you other reports that people have. Grade: F.

This app use to automatically block calls. But now it hasn't worked for quite a while. When I get spam I even have to remember the number on my phones call log and open Mr Number and enter it manually because it doesn't even have on it's own recent calls call log? I uninstalled this crap.

Used to really like this app but now that it doesn't have the hang-up feature, I'm just getting annoyed at all of the voicemails. It still does a good job at catching spam calls for the most part, but I really liked the feature in the past of being able to choose if you wanted it to go to voicemail or if you wanted it to hang up. If it stays this way I will probably look around for a different app.

Its hit or miss. Some numbers it blocks by 3rd ring some it blocks AFTER the call hangs up. Not one block prevents the calls from going to voicemail. What good is a call blocker if msgs still get left forcing you to still deal with spammers

This unwanted call blocker would be much better if it blocked unwanted calls. It identifies falls as spam, but (in Android 6 and 7) lets them ring through anyway. After the phone rings, and I fish it out and answer it, this app confirms that "Yep, that was spam." Not really helpful.

Does work on incoming calls but you cannot remove the spam numbers from your recent list without it removing them from blocked list. Not good, should have separate list and be able to manage each list independently. Good luck with the help info trying to read the light print.

This app doesn't work as good as it does on iOS. You can never search a phone number and find an actual result. It always shows "no results found", which is rather annoying and defeats the purpose of the app. You'd have to enter numbers manually to your block list. Fix it and I'll give you 5 stars.

Used to be excellent. New update causes app to run painfully slow. Now I have to wait minimum 30-40 seconds each time before the app will even open. Way to slow. Don't try to check a number "real quick" Smh

Worked great for a very long time!! Until it stopped working.. It sends spam calls directly to my voicemail instead of hanhing up on them.. So every other day, my voice mail gets full, and I have to delete all messages 1 by 1... I will have to find a new app that can do what Mr. Number used to be able to do.

I installed this ap b/c stated it could block calls &text messages. It DOESNT block text messages at all. & when Ive blocked phn calls, they still ring once or twice & then allow callers to leave a VM message. Very upsetting!!!

I love this app. Ever since 2015 I've been getting constant calls from random ass numbers throughout the states and throughout the world. Most of them spam or scam sometimes they're even frauds that will trick you to calling them in and paying for it. I almost fell for that. And I'm glad I didn't. Now I can finally get some sleep. Instead of being called from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. or from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. or even further in my time frame.

Worked well at first, but now calls are getting through and I had to disable my voicemail. Huge inconvenience I don't appreciate. Please fix! I don't want to have to uninstall but will if there's a better alternative, even if I have to pay for it.

Does a good job blocking calls that are not on my contact list, but occasionally I need one of those calls to come through and it disappears so fast I can't see if it was the call I was expecting. I then go to look at "blocked calls" and the blocked call isn't listed. Happens quite a bit, actually. Otherwise, decent app.

It's not blocking text messages. Numbers that spam text dont show up at all in mr number app, i get bundles of spam Text a day but there is no settings to add a number to block sms message. Very very annoying

Got a new phone and the Me. Number app stopped working at all. I have uninstalled, re-installed, and messed with settings, nothing helps. Not sure if other people are encountering this on their phones, mine is a OnePlus 3t running off a straight talk sim card. The App worked great on my 2nd generation MotoX using the same SIM card

This program blocks all notifications via text from my car and other Internet connected devices. It does not block spam calls. There is no way to turn off the text blocking so the program is useless.

The call blocking this app promises "DOES NOT WORK!!!" period. I blocked a number that had been repeatedly harrasing me on my home phone, next thing I know I'm getting calls and voice mails on my cell phone from the number that I had previously blocked with the "Mr number" app!!! Not to mention the fact that I HAD TO ADD THE "HIYA" APP TO ACTUALLY GET THE JOB DONE!!! This app has never worked in the year and a half I've had it downloaded!!! It doesn't even deserve one star, unfortunately you have to give it one just to let every one else know that the MR NUMBER APP DOES NOT NOR HAS IT EVER WORKED PERIOD!!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH IT!!!
