Bible Reading Schedule

I like how you can keep in check your progress of whatever reading plan you're using. It has many plans which means you can identify atleast one that works for you.. Just one issue though; the counter starts when you install it ( it assumes you started reading the day you installed it). This means if you install the app on 5th Jan, the counter starts on 5th so repeating scriptures you've already covered in the 4 days from 1st. Checking them will show that you're ahead of schedule! .. Kindly fix it

Exactly what I've been looking for!! However, I like to program a reminder and it does on the first day and then after that the notifications never pop up again. I'm using an Android. It didn't work on my last one and it doesn't work on the galaxy 6 that I have now. Otherwise it's a near perfect app. Thank you!

It notified me on the first day which I missed and now no more notifications and I cannot go to the first day, may not be any good if you miss a day. Cannot open anything to read. I contacted customer support and no response back.

I had been wanting to read a bit from both the New and the Old Testament each day, because I would like to read the Bible in a year, every year. The one thing about this app that annoys me, it reset my progress. I am still on the "read the Bible in a year" setting, but I had to go and recheck off everything I had read. Now it says I am 177 days ahead of my reading schedule. Untrue!

Noticed earlier that Psalm 33 is written twice in the chronological order sequence. Once after Psalms 1;29 and a second time after Psalm 132. I would also suggest making it so that each line can be marked off rather than with the day's worth. Some days require what feels to be more reading than usual and I tend to lose my place without being able to mark it :(

Its kind of motivating too. When you see for the set amount of scriptures laid out each day, that you can get ahead of schedule by reading just a bit more - maybe 1 or 2 chapters more of a particular book. (Better than book marking/pen & pad 4 me) - Thematic path for me.

I get the concept of having a schedule and reminder, but what is the use of it if it won't automatically bring up the required reading. You have to close this app and open a Bible app. No offence... But, duh. If someone were to combine both, then that would truly be useful.

This app is awesome! It motivates me to stay on track with my personal reading schedule. The only thing that I would recommend, is a place to takes notes on the selection read for the day. Some do research and this would be a great place to keep those notes handy. Thank you!

This app is just what I was looking for. Thankyou so much for developing it. The only improvement that I can suggest is to provide more check boxes so you can mark off each passage as you read it, rather than the one check box for the day.

I can't find one that comes close. There is only one thing I dislike is, you can't select start date, or where to begin. It doesn't work. Have to go into device options, change day, (Calculating days), then set reader, then go back and fix time. Please update so the start here feature works properly. Thanks

Thank you for your hard work, time, sacrifices, and your family's sacrifices for you to be able to put together a Bible reading schedule app.  I am 30 days from finishing the thematic schedule.  I have loved it!  I am excited to start my next schedule! I feel the app has all I need and is great as is, but seeing the date of your last update,  I have concern for you. Are you ok?

I'm doing the old and new testament reading program. I like it alright but I often feel frustrated with how the new testament readings are divided. It's not logical to finish your daily reading in the middle of a passage, wish they would just do an entire chapter for the day....

Great app for reminders and flexible reading schedule. Can you please add feature where you can go to the online bible when clicking on a content you want to read? Just adds to the covenience.

Overall a very good app, however, when I got a new phone I could not adjust to where I wanted to pick up my reading - either start at day 1 with Genesis 1 or have the app telling you that you are weeks ahead of schedule.

Great! Reading chronologically makes everything make so much more sense. Although, 2 Kings 24:7 shows up on sequential days in the chronological reading.

Always had trouble sticking to a Bible reading plan. Now i can read any time as i always have my phone on me.

This application, along with the well written JW Library app, made reading the bible using my phone so easy that I honestly could hardly put the bible down! This is a must have app for anyone who is interested in putting a charge in your bible study.

It really helps me to be on track. Now I started to read it chronologically. What an adventure. It gives me a totally different picture of some situations. The bible becomes alive.

Only thing I'd fix is if a reader is to start reading in the middle of the Bible, it marks all scriptures before it as read so it makes it seem you're finished once you reach the ends of revelations. If it could mark the whole Bible as unread no matter where you start, that'd cool

Easy. Organized. I feel less pressure with this set up. I love the thematic feature that offers the selections throughout the bible so that you are fed from different areas instead of waiting for it to build chronologically. It provides more intimacy with the word. You know your assignment, and you grab your word.

Simple app with great concept but it never reminds me to do my bible reading. Not sure why.

It would be nice if I could mark weekly bible reading for mtgs complete as well. Also having problems with the daily reminder. But overall a helpful app

Not sure why but I don't get a reminder which is kind of crucial. Other than that it's really good so if the reminder gets fixed it would be 5 stars.

I have tried to sync my Bible reading to the weekly portion but I have not been able with the sequences available. Is there a trick to it or is that something that needs to be added to the app?

I expected to be able to click on the passage assigned for the day and be able to actually read it. Having to leave this app to go read in a different one is clumsy and should be unnecessary. This is not an all in one app. Good idea but lacking real usability.

I like the many different ways I can choose for order of reading. However the app seems to stop popping up the reminder schedule after only a couple of days. Otherwise great job! Thanks.

I'm really enjoying the app and finding it valuable. I really would love it if you could build into the app the date you started your schedule. My phone crashed and I lost the app but when I reinstalled there was no facility to go back to where I was now the app just says I'm 96 days ahead when I know I'm not as I started at the beginning of the year. I had no back up so couldn't retrieve my original schedule. Thanks for a great app though.

Great useful app but... It would be absolutely awesome if you could have your personal bible reading schedule AND the congregation weekly bible reading running simultaneously and choosing the pace of the reading...The alternative so far is to have the app on 2 devices and subsequently falling behind and getting discouraged

I love the simplicity of this app! It makes it so easy to keep track of your progress. I would like to see a schedule added for reading individual books of the Bible. That would be helpful for the larger books such as Psalms and Isaiah.

This is great. This year I am going to read the whole bible and I am only 11 and that is my fathers goal! He has done it for so many years I wanted to do it too. Thank you for this

Exactly what I've been looking for, and then some. You can decide how you want to read and keep track. For example, I chose the order in which events happened, so everyday has a section to read and a check box to click when you are done. It even has the Bible reading schedule for the Theocratic Ministry School! Thanks to Jehovah and our brothers and sisters who create these apps so that we have a wuivk and easy way to keep track of what we need.

The author is present at all times . Thank you for making it convenient for us to access the book that change our hearts.

I easily get bored with reading one bible book till I finish. The thematic type schedule has made my bible reading more interesting. Thank u so much. The app is just perfect.

My family has benefited from having the suggested reading on an app, thank you very much! However, if the chronological reading had the option to be divided into shorter readings we could get much more out of Bible reading and deeper study. The sequential order is currently the only choice with this option. Thank you!

I want to read along with the tms schedule but it doesn't seem to work... It tells me what the reading for the week is but I was expecting it to assign a daily portion of the reading for the week.

I really like this app: it is easy to use, but still has flexibility. It is helping me stay right on track with my Bible reading! Thank you, to whomever designed it. May Jehovah bless you - forever.
