Mozy for Android
Does not sync at all, and the menu cannot be found.
Unable to Access Files with Personal Encryption
Awesome program. Ioften forget i have it, it is so automated. Its the best piece of mind for the $$$ Money well spent.
Love it.
Junk --- no matter what I do it keeps saying "please enter a valid email address" sigh... so sad. I needed this to work. Guess I will start using OneDrive. (cross my fingers lol) Using a Nexus 6P with Marshmallow
Great app!
Painfully slow to access files from the phone. Sync doesn't work consistently.
To have a non-functional mobile app for as long as they've had should be a major embarrassment, but they seem unconcerned. "Well expect a fix at the end of the month." My company would have everyone possible working on a fix as a top priority. These guys seem to have an attitude of "no big deal."
Mozy
I love how Mozy works on my netbook and my iMac. I love having access to all my files on my phone. It's something I try to use all the time. Yes, I say "try to use" because all too often I can't use it. It is so painfully slow that it can take me 10 minutes to navigate the file tree to find the file I need. Sometimes I can never get it at all. It doesn't matter whether I'm on Wifi or Data, I just stare at the loading screen. Additionally, the search function is useless. What should be one of the most useful apps on my phone instead is something that has me cursing and tearing at my hair.
Canceled my mozy account. Mozy sync hasnt worked in over a month. Several other people have open cases and posted in the community about the same issue with only .. oh we are so sorry and we are working to fix it. Support is nonexistent.. one person who occasionally emails a link to a non related support document.
First, let me say that I love mozy on my computer. It is a life saver. The mobile app, however, in its current state, is not the most reliable. It pales in comparison to it's desktop client counterpart.
I was excited when I saw the alternate sign-on option but when I entered the correct subdomain name it said it couldn't find it. UPDATE: it works now!
I want to back up photos on my phone to my Mozy. I set it up to auto upload and only upload over WiFi. It didn't upload existing pictures. When I forced them to upload using the"manual" method it did so over network, not wifi. Luckily I only selected a few or I could have chewed up all of my monthly bandwidth.
Auto sync works inconsistently. If I take photos while not on WiFi, it is not uploading them later. I went back through a year of photos, and needed to manually sync my gallery. Manual upload via MyRoll and Google Photos frequently displays error message about Mozy not a supported service if more than a few photos/videos are selected.
Be aware that if you have an email address with a period in it (maybe other special characters too?), that the app won't let you log in - it says it's not a valid email address. I can't even get in to see if the app is worthwhile - there's good planning, eh?
Super complex just to get an account
So far, it's worked well. interface could be better organized. Dropped 2 stars for putting a space in front of name so it shows up first in the app drawer. Not cool. I don't want your app out of order!
Its an extension of your PC
I was excited to use this app as I love the Mozy backup on my desktop. Unfortunately, there is no "Explorer" file tree type interface so you can navigate to the files you want. Instead, you are left with a line that may not even contain the entire folder path and a few icons below it. Extremely cumbersome. Can't believe someone thought this was a good idea.
Past few updates have made Mozy alot better!
Overall, I love he application but don't understand why there are so many steps to view files. I click Documents and the system launches a search for all documents. It takes minutes to complete. When it completes i have to hit the phone's menu button and select All Files. Then I can drill down to see my files. Please make "All Files" as an option from the home page.
I would like to be able to search for a specific photo or file, without downloading everything.
Great app works quite smooth. I would like to modify or add to the set list of extensions used to search. But still very nice
Can't back up. All I see is what was backup from PC.
Love the stash. Works on Incredible 4G
Nope, doesn't work on the Note. Looking forward to when it does.
Works perfectly fine on the HTC Sensation (rooted) : 4.0.3 : Android Revolution HD 6.3.0. The only feature that's missing for me is the ability to stream the music that I have uploaded, rather than download the files individually, hence four stars. Go on Mozy implement streaming music :)
Freezes on initial splash screen
Apparently incompatible with Samsung infuse :(
For years now, this app has been substandard and problematic! Frequent messages saying "Mozy has stopped working. Also, the stash upload from the phone has been spotty from day 1. But now, a more serious problem has erupted. I am unable to access my files and the app keeps claiming there as a network problem even though I can connect . My computer died on me several days ago and is in the shop. I need to access a very important file from my phone and cannot. What the eff is the point of using Mozy?
Allows me to access my files anywhere and immediately email or view them.

Extremely slow and impractical. This app us totally useless. I thought that storing my files on mozy would allow me to synchronize multiple devices, but not with this app!
Stash is simply worthless. It never works. The other functionality is also unreliable.
And Smart phones! :-) Home version is FREE up to 2 GB Try it
Brilliant UI. Brilliant service. Worth the storage fee. Loving it.
I like it but inefficient at times e.g. Why not let me select the file type I want to download before searching the server for a list of everything uploaded?

Worked great in android 4. Now in 6.01 it crashes when trying to decrypt with personal encryption. So it's useless right now. Happened on multiple 6. 01 devices including Alcatel idol 4. Uninstalled until it's fixed.
