Alarm Calendar Plus

I've set it up so its synced with my Google calendar and automatically creates alarms for events containing a certain key word which I use to identify work days. This allows me to control the alarm from my calendar. If a day doesn't include a work related event then the alarm doesn't go off. No more having to remember to turn the alarm on or off.

Truly, this app is incredible. I've wanted an app that can set alarms on specific days, in specific patterns over a set amount of days, AND tell me out loud what to do with verbal Text-to-Speech for as long as I've had a mobile phone. This is *exactly* what I was looking for! Tons of customization, absolutely worthwhile

You would think that Google would make that feature for their Android stock alarm but no, I have to use 3rd party app. But Alarm Calendar Plus does the job perfectly once you figure out how to use all the functions. Needs a backup option for the settings though.

1- I used alarm at the time of notification and automatic dismiss after 10 seconds but It won't stop alarm ever even after 1 minute at the time of notification and at the time of event it works fine. (I'm using tts - LABEL) 2. It keeps unlocking my screen automatically when alarm screen pops up even if I won't unlock. I use swipe unlock method. Please fix soon! I love this app. Thank-you

I'm using Nougat. Even though it said it sync'd with my Android calendar when I installed the app, it did not sync. Thereo obvious way to sync this app with my Android calendar...and no instruction online or on YouTube. I tried a similar app and it sync'd automatically. Unfortunately, that app doesn't have the alarm configuration features of this app.

I dislike having to adjust the volume with every entry. It's an alarm, it's supposed to be loud! Need the ability to turn off vibrate instead of having to do it with every entry I don't want to kill my battery. Please enable Auto-Erase on the word (label) when you tap on the line to enter a label, annoying! I'm sure I'll be discovering more once I use it more.

I have used this app for a long time and at first it was really good but now my alarms aren't going off when I set them they go of 10-30 minutes earlier. I have gone through all my settings, completely removed the app and started over, but the issue remains. It's a really useful app but the bugs are an issue.

I've got a new S7 running Nougat, and this app no longer works correctly. Some days it goes off late; others, it doesn't go off at all. One day, I checked and made sure the alarm was scheduled the night before, but it didn't go off in the morning! Hoping for a new update! Old review: Been using for months. Does exactly what I want: plays a long, snooze-able alarm (not just a quick notification sound) an hour before my shift starts. So much easier than manually setting alarms every day based on what shift I have! One complaint: if I try to manually schedule an alarm for a day in the future, even if I select that day, it defaults to the current day and I have to edit it.

exactly what I was looking for. ads are simple and not over-annoying, settings are easy, perfect integration with calendar for auto days off recognition, fully customizable. definitely an excellent app.

If you want your appointments to be alarms not notifications then this definitely what you're looking for. So far so good. Thanks guys *****

One of the best apps I own, no more missed appointments and being late is much rarer. Totally worth every penny.

It just started asking for permission to access info it should not need = photo, media and files also make and manage phone calls. Deleting it shortly.

Has most of the features I want & good alarm UI. There's one feature I would like, to be able to disable alarms during meetings in the calendar. App only seems to recognise all day events. A big bug on Galaxy S8, alarms & time signals are off by about 3 minutes. Trying to compensate is no help. All battery saving features disabled for the app does not help.

Why can't someone create an app that is easy to set a date and a time? One date in the future. Not every day even well after I'm dead.

I use this app to make my phone chime the hours. It tends to be 1 to 3 minutes slow, but I like it nonetheless.

Lately my alarms have been going off too early.

Doesnt provide any options to sync with Google calendar, except for holidays. Waste of time

Instead of the boring same simple Alarm, this is a highly customizable alarm app which if you use it correctly can put a right rythm to your day.

I've been using this for a long time as I need several alarms. However the pop up alarm screen has stopped showing although the sound still plays. This isn't much use as I can't snooze it or turn it off etc. Please help. *In reply to your comment, I reiterate that I've used it several times a week for years and done nothing to alter set up or permissions or I would've mentioned this. Why do so many providers of services try and turn tables after misreading clear explanations? I've now found another app.

App is broken on Nougat. Won't show alarm, just plays alarm in background.

Sets my alarm automatically two hours before my scheduled event (work) start time. Set up the app and never have to mess with it again.

Isn't there an easier way for me to get a minute time signal than making around 1,400 laborious individual entries (after paying $3 to upgrade)?

Need to be able to import a personal holiday .ics calendar. Then 5 stars. Why? The UK is a confederation of different countries that have their own holidays which aren't observed in the other regions. So, relying on a UK Holiday Calendar in GCal is a PITA because it's full of holidays that aren't observed in my country. The UK government publishes separate regional holiday calendars in .ICS format which one can import into GCal. Alarm Calendar + can't 'see' these, and isn't meeting my needs. Fix please.

The app works as described...Title filters are particularly useful, with all my important calendar events automatically added as alarms. I used to have a problem missing early morning meetings if I forgot to set an alarm - no more!

App works well. It's glitched a few times and The sound hasn't gone off but after restarting my phone it worked fine. I set it synced to my work schedule. Makes my life so easy

While it has features I like, I have yet to figure it out. It is not intuitive. I have been poking at it for days. All I wanted is to cancel the alarm when on vacation or holiday. There are no online manuals or help available. So far what I like is: Notification of coming alarm. If I wake up early easy to cancel next alarm without having to turn off. Auto Dismiss. I have it set to play sound once, then it stops. It also has other options for all the sleepy heads out there. A big button display with selection of colors. Easy to hit and turn off

Understanding intelligent alarm calendar apps, like Alarm Calendar Plus - take time! Visual notifications & audible alarms on my smartphone - are GREAT - but having a hectic schedule - THEY MUST BE RELIABLE - & sometimes it takes me a few days or weeks, to be convinced of. …. THIS ONE IS GREAT - but takes time to learn !! .. I actually had to keep older alarm apps running, until I was sure this would work well - & IT DOES !

Devices have a separate "alarm volume" value precisely so that if you accidentally leave your device volume low, your alarm volume will still be loud, and this app (as far as I can tell) DOES NOT USE IT! That's frustrating as heck and I've been late waking up or late to work because of that fact MULTIPLE times!

I used this app on Samsung s3 and was very happy with it. Now that I've upgraded to an s5 I'm having some problems. The alarms are almost always between 2 min and 4min late. Its not even consistently late so i can't compensate.

Love this app - I have my whole family's lives in a bunch of google calendars and this provides alarm clock entries based on those calendars. I use it to wake at a given time on days that contain certain calendar items. I use it to remind me when to leave to pick up family from certain events. Yes, Google Calendar can do reminders but this can be used to wake yourself on a specific device. I wish it had regular expressions. This is not a big deal I just have to make sure that I dont have rules for things like 'art' because it picks up 'Party' as an alarm event. I wish I could do (and/or/not) expressions - I have multiple calendars that have similar events that I want a single alarm if any of those are there. Right now I have multiple alarms that all try to go off at the same time and I have to clear the ones that did not "win". IE set an alarm if ((calendar 'X' has 'xxx' or calendar 'Y' has 'xxx' or calendar 'Z' has 'xxx') and (calendar 'A' does not have 'trip')). I wish it could set an alarm for a specific time IE if calendar 'X' had an entry for 'school' that day set an alarm for 6:30am

Alarm does not go off at the specified time when synced with Google Calendar. Alarm often goes off several minutes late. Unacceptable.

LOVE this app. One huge problem: When I reboot my phone by snoozed alarms disappear. This is a big problem :(

I like the app, but it definitely takes some time to get use to. I didn't like when changing the specific time on the alarm it would snap to the bottom of the screen. That already takes too much time to put time alarms. Sometimes it doesn't play my alarm off my calendar, but that is less common than the time alarm.

I really like this app. The only thing I would suggest is adding a exercise function that would allow you to set rounds with rest cycles. That would be great. Thanks for making this app.

Alarm is constantly ringing at 4 minutes after predefined timing on note5 running 6.0.1 when device has entered doze state

Alarm calendar quit syncing (and wiped all previous alarms) with my Google Calendar after I manually changed time on my android. Every event in Google must be reentered manually. I fear that if I change time again ALL previous alarms will again be erased.

Is there a way to make sure the alarm just vibrates when the phone is on vibrate/silent? And also, it keeps giving me 2 hour notifications even though I told it not to. Help?

It is easy to set calendar events that you can hear on a Galaxy S5.

I use it with Calendar Mute on teo gmails, and it made planning a lot easier.
