Ever wanted to share your contacts but couldn't find the option in Android? Do you need an easy way to share your own contact details with others? Do you need to backup your contacts to your computer but don't know how? Would you like to share by SMS a contact directly from Android agenda?
With Contactos you can fast and easily share all your contacts and also your own.
Just choose the contacts you want to share. For every selected contact you can decide which elements you want to send:
- Name
- Phone numbers
- Emails
- Addresses
That's it, now just send them by SMS or email. As simple as that!

Select the contact using the contacts application in Android, press menu and select the option "Share" and "Contactos"

- Sharing by email attaches a custom vCard with only the contact details you have selected
- Quick find so you can easily look-up for the contacts
- Caller ID functionality to help you identify numbers real-time while the call is happening - even the ones not in your phonebook! No more number guessing or avoiding unknown callers! Contactos Caller ID prepares you for the call. If your local pizza vendor doesn’t pick up the phone when you’re calling, Caller ID will suggest alternative nearby places. You can always adjust your caller ID settings in the settings menu.

Q: Why is it not possible to attach a vCard to the SMS?
A: The SMS protocol allows only sending text. The vCard is sent when sharing by email.

Dear sir Just started using. Lay out design seems to good. One issue I have come across is selection g ADDRESS. THE TICK MARK NOT VISIBLE AT THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE SCREEN. I am unable to uncheck. So it gets included in the SMS. To delete I have to use backspace. Total convenience comfort gone. So please rectify. If address is lenghty this problem will have to be faced. I tried in many contacts.

It's hilarious that something even a dumb phone can easily do (send contacts via SMS) is something that requires a special app on Android. But here we are, and for what it's worth, this is the best of the lot, which is not saying much at all.

After trying few contact sharing app, I must say that this is the best. Stable, small, and easy to use. Native contact & phone book app in ICS does not have contact share feature that includes all the user data that I want. If you just want to either SMS or email your contact app without any hassle, this is the perfect app!

When sending contact as email, why can't the subject be more readable, like [Name] - Contact Info? Having the subject as the name of the .vcf file would look suspicious if I received an email like that -EVO 4G

It needs an option to copy to clipboard & it sucks that you can't select more than one contact with free version (but i can't complain, I'm grateful for the free version!) You can select multiple entries (select 1 or all phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, etc.) for a specific contact. The extended version is $1.99.
