Moves Like Simon - Dance App

Moves Like Simon is a follow-the-leader dance game for 2 to 5 players. The motion sensor in the phone compares movements between players and Simon. The player that "Moves Like Simon" the best will get the highest score. The phone is held in the right hand by all.

Just like the classic game of "Simon Says", one person will be Simon. Simon connects with 1-4 Players via Bluetooth. After that, cue the music and let the dance party begin! This go-anywhere dance game tests your dance skills in the living room and at the park down the street!

Bring more to the game when Simon connects to chromecast. Your big-screen scoreboard tracks all the action.

Once Simon presses start, this live action game begins. Players that have "Moves Like Simon" earn the most points.

Correlation is a measure of how well players "Move Like Simon". Correlation is visible as a bar graph on the chromecast screen.

S'Energy. geek speak: S'energy is the time-averaged energy of the phone movement. human speak: S'energy is a measure of your overall activity level through the game.

Use the Camera feature to video record the event.

Once Simon presses stop, the game ends, and prizes are awarded.

If Simon is logged in to Google during a game, achievements will be earned, and S'energy scores will post to Leader Boards.

Super Simon I - lead 10 games as Simon, 3 minutes or longer, with S'Energy > 5
Super Simon II - lead 10 games as Simon, 5 minutes or longer, with S'Energy > 5
Super Simon III - lead 10 games as Simon, 7 minutes or longer, with S'Energy > 5

Starting a Game

Connecting via Bluetooth

Simon needs to pair Bluetooth with all players. This is done through Settings > Bluetooth.

Once pairing is complete, launch the Moves Like Simon application.
Simon presses the Simon button or chooses Simon through the motion-sensing remote menu(chromecast).

All Players press the Player button.

When all players have pressed the player button, Simon presses the connect button.
Once connections have been made, cue the music, and Simon presses start.

Motion-sensing remote menu

When connected to chromecast, a motion-sensing remote menu on the entry screen allows options such as Simon, +99 credits, leave a review, and google sign-in/out. This menu can be disabled by clicking the icon to the left of the chromecast icon in the action bar.

Bluetooth

The phone Bluetooth name is displayed in the upper left corner. The logo turns blue when a Bluetooth connection has been made.

Who Am I? The top center of the screen shows whether you are Simon, Player, or if no role has been chosen.

To refresh list of paired Bluetooth devices, press back twice and re-launch application.

chromecast

chromecast is a media-streaming device. "Moves Like Simon" supports chromecast.

In-app purchase

With first time install, 60 credits are provided. Additional credits can be purchased through the +99 button or with the +99 option available in the motion-sensing remote menu.
