Verizon Visual Voice Mail for Android
Crashes - spent over an hour on phone with Verizon. They couldn't figure out the problem & had to submit a ticket. Own two Moto with same problem & one Verizon Motorola without a problem. I have a feeling this is a Moto problem that Verizon & Lenovo are pointing fingers at each other. Hope they figure it out soon!
It used to work pretty well on my phone until recently, for no reason, it didn't. Talk talked to Verizon for over an hour to fix it, then they investigated the potential problem, and it still doesn't work.
Fails to set up, directs me to call voicemail to complete, no options I can find there to help. Moto G5 Plus. Worked fine on my LG G2 AND the Moto G5 Plus I originally purchased and needed to exchange...
Absolutely the worst app ever! Continuously crashes every time I try to update my greeting. Leaving on vacation and I now can't set a vaca away greeting. Could not be more frustrated. Terrible app.
Update: went to Verizon and they had to do something on their end apparently they had to turn voice mail to text on or something. Which is weird because I used to have that on anyway. Works great now love it. Upgraded to 5 stars!
For those that are having the app crash immediately upon launch, contact Verizon and make sure Visual Voicemail is provisioned on your account. Then it works fine. App should warn user instead of crashing.
Worked fine for at least a year, on both my previous phone and now my Moto G4. Until today. I was provisioned by Verizon to use it, but it now just crashes the minute I try to use it. Terrible app now.
For anyone experiencing issues with the app crashing, there is a fix. The app requires permissions to be enabled manually under Settings - Apps - Voice Mail - Permissions. Works fine for me after making the change.
I called VZW prior to installing to verify it would be ok to use this feature on my account. It crashes at open. Why can't we just have voicemail as good as an iPhone?
Terrible app, crashed on two separate Motorola phones. Different models and both did the same. Exact. Thing.
Can't even try the app to rate it since it just crashes before opening it. I had it at one time and lived it, but I wonder how many people have to rate it this way before it gets fixed ????
This app used to crash. I then uninstalled it, then cleared the phone's cache (note, this is different from clearing an app's cache), then reinstalled, and it works great. Android 7.1.1
Worked fine a few weeks ago and then suddenly started acting like I never set it up before. Now it crashes right after displaying a "setting up" message. Android Nougat 7.0 on Moto G4.
G5 Plus on Verizon. It installs, then it runs, then it pops up a message "Sorry, we ran into a problem. Please call Voice Mail (*86) to complete setup." No identifying the "problem", and then when I DO call in to *86 there's absolutely no information about what to do "to complete setup". If this app requires Verizon setting something up on your line, then the app should pop that up at the very first time launched giving you some sort of heads up the Verizon has to do something FIRST before you can use the app. Had the app on my MotoX before this phone, and it worked fine there. And nothing was changed on my account when I switched phones, all I did was power off, take sim out of MotoX, put in MotoG5, turn on. Everything else just worked. This app? Broken.
Used to work. Now just crashes when trying to open. Moto G4.
It opens, says it's setting up, and immediately crashes. Completely useless and I can't access my voice mail.
The app won't even open tried multiple times app shuts down immediately I am a Verizon customer on a Moto G5 plus and extremely DISAPPOINTED....
Unable to even start. Insta crash with setting up message. Using moto g4 with android 7
Used to work. Now only crashes
App doesnt even open, just crashes and force closes.....junk. Nexus 6 - Android 7.0
Literally opening it just redirects to a call to your voicemail box, which takes FOREVER to listen through voicemails. The entire purpose of the app is to skip the call part entirely, and it doesn't even do that. Edited; tried to reinstall to see if it worked now and nope! Doesn't even launch!
Moto G5 here, app will not even load. Please figure out a way to have me get voicemails like my iPhone use to.
First time using it and after installing the app can't even open it. It attempts to open but then it closes by itself. Installed and reinstalled many a time with the same results.
Called to set up when first got phone and it worked for over a month. Then it just stopped. They thought it was the Sim but not sure about that. Moto G4. Crashes on open.
This app will not download on my phone has locked up all my voicemails I have about 12 voicemails I can't even listen to because this app is trying to look download
Received the recent OS update and now this app no longer works. Verizon customer service not able to fix the issue. Severely disappointed.
Reinstall many times but same issue _"setting up VMB and crash!" It is not even worth for 1 star
It wont even open, downloaded and immediately crashed when trying to open it. Uninstalled and redownloaded still doesnt work
Crashes over and over. This is a vital function.
Absolutely horrible! Constantly crashed and NEVER actually worked
App crashes immediately upon starting it. Completely broken. Nexus 6 Android 7.0
Does not work!! Please fix this app asap because it doesn't work. It couldn't even open after download.
Doesn't work (just crashes), even thought I'm already provisioned by Verizon.
Crashes like other Verizon apps. Can't even get to the main menu. Verizon needs to get with the program.
Stop telling me to upgrade the app. I have gotten ten alerts about it after I already upgraded.
Crashes on startup. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but still crashes on startup. Permanently uninstalling!
App worked for a few weeks, now just crashes after opening.
Worked for a year, then i switched my number, and it crashes when I open it now
Worked well until perhaps a recent update. Now crashes everytime

like all Verizon apps does not work. Won't even let you go in and adjust the settings. Doesn't work. I have Verizon and this is verizon voicemail. It tries to use SMS text message to set up forwarding. It would work better if they dialed a star code like the other ones do
