Moto Mods Projector

Good mod but it would be nice if there was a feature for it to turn itself off after it has been inactive for awhile. Fell asleep with it on and it seems like that would shorten it's life span if done frequently. Also, I don't see why I can't project NFL games, do you really expect us to watch an entire game on a 4 inch screen when they are broadcasted over the air for free. It's really not costing the NFL any revenue if I watch their program on a screen that is the same size as my television in my house.

There are two more things I wish this projector could do, the first is to be able to flip the projection upside down so that when projecting on the ceiling you don't have to move the phone to make the picture set correctly. Then the second, which you are probably already working on, is to allow people to key stone side to side. You know so that you can set the projector off to the side and have everyone sit by each other without fear of someone setting their hand on it or in front of it, and so that the screen appears rectangular and not like a sideways trapezoid. Does that make sense? But I do love this projector never has sharing pictures with big group been ever easier.

It works good......but...The Comcast app won't allow projection. The main reason I got it was to use for my Comcast app. I also heard NFL won't allow projection. Super lame. Otherwise it's great. I'm trying to find a work around but I haven't figured it out yet.

This is by far the coolest Mod available so far. My phone has spent more hours as a projector than anything else. It scales great, and when paired with a good Bluetooth speaker, it's a movie theater experience in the comfort of your own home.

The Z phones & mods are super awesome in general. Projector mod just blows people away. It just works, no setup woes or interruptions. Built in battery instead of relying on the phone's power shows that Moto didn't half ass these, they put real thought into it. Time to connect a bluetooth remote and play games anywhere (especially emulators)! Would really like the ability to plug the JBL speaker mod into the phone using USB C while projecting so I can just use mods and don't need another speaker.

Take a bow Lenovo.... you have truly done something so innovative, that you have laid the foundation foe the next wave of wireless capabilities on the go. The projector is truly transformative and changes the wireless experience for sure!!! Worth every penny and the kids absolutely love it!

The projector shut down unexpectedly whenever mod battery less than 20% while z play has sufficient battery. Is it a bug or hardware problem? I tried to reset by pressing and holding the battery check button for several seconds already.

I bought Moto Z play with projector mod to watch shows aboard our Sailboat at anchor. Couldn't be happier so far. Much better than the flat screen TV approach!!

I really like the concept . But the battery does not last very long , I'm getting at least 1hr on a medium brightness and when I have WiFi on and connect a BT speaker Netflix starts to lag very annoying . Any ideas ??

We watched football on ESPN and both sides were cut off when projected. You couldn't see the full display with score and time that is shown in the bottom right hand corner. Couldn't find a way to adjust it. Love it though! Only reason I got a Moto Z... I'm usually good using outdated phones but this one did me in! :)

Love the projector, sadly won't let me project NFL games from the NFL app... I hope this can be fixed, and there won't be more apps doing that in the future.

This thing is fantastic. Can make anything into a movie quality experience. Since I got it I have had nothing but great things to say.

This is a best add on one can get enjoying it . Unfortunately mods battery draining very quickly in last few days . Specially after the apps version update please help

Moto z force is another type of device all together with these mods...blows everyone's mind

The projector works very nice and looks like a mini theatre,but the battery drains very fastly. Next the speaker should comes in projector it looks very enjoyable but the mobile voice only available.finally waiting for more mods this year.Thanks for Moto mods team

Best phone ever and best mod for this phone! I went to the cinema and projected probably a 300 inch screen in the dark room! It does drain the mod battery quickly but using the Moto z play battery it's fine. I can't wait for the next gen projector, maybe 720p and/or laser so that it auto focuses as well as auto keystone. Thank you sooooo much, Motorola!!!!

I would add a need for some battery time improvement, since it goes a bit less than a series I watch. Enhancing with BT sound is a must for my 1yo soon.

My girlfriend and I bought this mod with the intent to watch NFL Mobile, but NFL Mobile does not allow any type of screen casting... We don't really have any other use for this mod

I love this mod so much I have a few suggestions for future mods tho. Two future mods I would love to see is something like the lapdock they used to have for the older Moto razor series I used to love my lapdock and would purchase another one in a instant if they would make another one that the phone could just connect to threw the moto mods feature. Also the phone needs some sort of HDMI output I see a lot of people suggesting this and I'm another that says it is a must. Ive tried some mhl products but

Love this mod & use it daily, but tried 2 different Bluetooth speakers and won't play while syncing to projector. If fixed it will be 5 Stars.

It's cool and decent but I wish it would work with NFL mobile network

I cannot get it to work on my Moto Z Play. I have updated all of the Appa and software, nothing. :(

Haven't used it outside yet. But used it on the ceiling for the first time and it was pretty cool...will update it after trying to use it outside...

Awesome purchase, I teach classes in areas where there is no equipment to project a slide show or Video, this solved my problem and quality is beyond what I imagined!

Keep on innovating. All but one of my phones has been a Motorola phone. Keep up the good work so I can keep it that way.

Works well and has a bright picture and scales up well. Great for work and play

It's easy, a phone that has it's very own PROJECTOR that just snaps on like a phone case. It's AMAZING! 10 points for Gryffindor

I wish it could be brighter and sharper than it is, even with the adjustments allowed for viewing in brighter conditions.

This is my favorite mod. Only feature missing is auto power off
