Motorola Spotlight Player™

The dancing was more insult to my emotional injury. Tried to disable tried to stop. I touched the uninstal icon, when it first appeared. The install icon came on immediately to update the application. The Mexican hat was visible once again. This is a indirect form of Spam. Please, uninstal this application permanently. Respectfully yours, a retired senior citizen.

The app is intrusive, the bug pops up at random times. I usually have it disabled. The actual gameplay of the app is decent though.

I use my phone as a phone and computer and assistant. Not for bloatware and games. Not a fan.

This pointless app came pre installed on my phone, and I am unable to remove it. Also, I am unable to turn off it's notifications and pop ups.

Why does it now need to be moved to a different app!!! And now the games on the Google version is BORING so I want the version first back!

This app really should allow the option to disable it since it isn't really useful. At all.

Google spotlight stories app is crap... This is way much better and optimized... Please bring this back :(

This was one my phone (Moto G 1st Gen) when I first got it. Had no idea what it was and it taking up so much space already. I wanted to get rid of it but couldn't. Then I thought, why on earth would they take so much of my 8gb of storage? What does this thing do that could possibly so valuable? I clicked it. The app opened and then it said that it was going to download something else again. Even more space to lose. At this point, I wasn't turning back! It was imperative that I find out what Motorola was thinking when they thought I could give up so much of my device storage. Download completed and I launched the first short. I thought something was wrong. The little mouse ran off the screen never to reappear. WTF! Really Motorola?! In the midst of my further frustration though, my hand shook and the image on the screen budged so I shook the phone some more. Tilted it. Leaned it. Spun it around. I was holding, in my hands, a window into the world where that little mouse existed. I was completely blown away! I was so excited! This was a brand new experience for me. And then the stories. The stories they told were amazing. If you have not seen these, you are missing out!

Didn't know this was installed until I saw the little hat floating around my screen. Brilliant and fun little app.

Has a bug that runs on my screen and spams my notification bar and I would have to root to get rid of this poor excuse of an app.

This used to be a five star app, but since Google took it over, it's become unusable bloatware.

If I can't use it then I don't want it. Wasting my space.

So take it away please if you can't let users uninstall it themselves.

This is acting as bloatware now that it does nothing. Why did I just receive another update for it that didn't remove it?

It won't work anymore, and I only played windy day. Please add more little stories, and maybe an area where u can make your own.

I wish you could at least let us access the Motorola version because I'm on the Isle of Man and I can't get the Google version. Because the UK doesn't accept the IOM in the UK as a country. Please I likes the stories.

Make it uninstallable, takes up more space than it should and only has three video things

If the app is moving to a new DIFFERENT application, why make moto users unable to uninstall it? 21mb being used for an app that will no longer be updated. EDIT: WE should be able to completely REMOVE THE APP, not just disable it, even if it is using a little bit of space, THAT IS SPACE, SPACE I WANT, especially because there is no expandable storage on Moto X 2013 phones!

WHERE DID THE ANIMATED STORIES GO? I LOVED THEM >:-( From BEFORE Google got the player, The spotlight player and the two movies I've watched with it is to me the most innovative and enjoyable app I've ever installed on my phone. It's like you're in a bubble in the middle of an animated world and your phone is your window into that world. Move your phone up and you're looking at the sky, down and you're looking at the ground. As you turn a 360 you see the world that surrounds you. You can just explore the world, or follow the main characters to get to the end of the movie. It is SO MUCH FUN! Kudos to those who've put this together!

Wish I could always have the bug on my screen on click on him when I want to play

If you moved to google its good, please let us uninstall this app permanently...

More Motorola bloatware and most of isn't compaitable with my device, Moto X gen 1, no I didn't install. Had everything running at one time and the background data was crazy, what were they doing? More worrying one app took me to "Motorola" site which wasn't Motorola but some Chinese knock up phishing site emulating Microsoft for trading in old phones etc..My data, IMEI, MAC etc are all out on the frickin web. Cheers.

Around 600MB space is being used by this app,which is too much.After uninstalled other apps like moto voice stops working also android avatar stops working...Fix it...please

It was so easy to watch. Now I cannot even watch it. Before I just went to spotlight, now when I do it says I ha.ve to download all of them an it won't let me unless I am at a WiFi. Loved it before. I can't even watch it after I downloaded it from Google play. I got to download each one now.

Totally useless since you have moved. I Cannot even download it as it is not available in my area apparently. Not happy.

Where's the update you said, back in JUNE! (it's Sept '15 now), that was coming "soon" to allow full uninstallation. AND you have the cheek to tell us not to disable it or the (never appearing) update won't work. You guys are USELESS!

It was a great app and then it moved to Google. I haven't bothered to download the Google version because this old Motorola one is STILL not able to be uninstalled!! I saw Motorola responded at the beginning of June 2015, stating they would have something soon to allow us to uninstall... It's now almost April 2016. -_- I'd like to be able to use what little space I have on my Moto X since this app is a waste of space!

All the animations are gorgeous and I love the fact the I have to follow it around, really cute !!
