MapCo Guide: 2016 Rio Football

The MapCo Guide to 2016 Olympic Football games is a schedule and location based app that the spectator can use to navigate the games. The app gives the user the distance of all of the stadiums, from nearest to closest, from their location to the stadiums where the matches will be played in Brazil.

There are several first round games that start before the opening ceremonies, and the early rounds and the quarter finals of the tournament are played all over Brazil.

So if the user wants to know how far they are from each of the particular venues, as well as who is playing on a particular site on any given day, this app can help.

Also, each stadium detail has a Google map embedded in it which gives direct directions to the park.

The tournament is being played in seven stadiums, ranging from Maracana and Olympic, in Rio de Janeiro, to Amazonia Arena, some 4500km away from Rio.
