MapCo Guide to Rio Sailing

The MotorCo MapGuide to the Olympic Sailing Events is several apps in one.

It uses relative location based mapping so the user can triangulate where they are in relation to the different sailing points in Guanabara Bay, where the racing will occur. The main Marina is Marina de Gloria, but there will be other spots to try to capture the racing in Rio de Janeiro. This app points out several locations surrounding the bay, and the app triangulates the relative distance from each potential vantage point.

The app also details the different races, and their schedules. For example, Descriptions of and schedules for the different races are detailed for each of the race classes:

470 Men and Women
49-er Men and Women
RS:X Men and Women
Nacra 17 - Mixed
Finn - Men
Laser Radial - Women
Laser - Men

The user will get a detailed description of each of the classes upon picking one of the event classes.

Also - each schedule and description has a live Google map in case you want to be directed to the potential viewing location.

Finally, each description has a live WindMap that will give you wind conditions and forecast in Rio de Janeiro.
