This was by far the best of the apps we used when touring NZ last year. Full of useful info, including some quirky attractions that even the locals don't know about. Pair it with the paid version of New Zealand Topo Maps for detailed offline mapping and you're sorted.

Great app if you are visiting New Zealand. Adventure recommendations, many camp locations - free and payed ones... I had the pleasure of testing this app when i was visiting NZ last year and i have to say it's very useful. You can either plan a trip in advance, plan the activities and the nearby camps. Or use it as you go and check if there is something interesting to do nearby. I loved the adventures section, which describe some of the most amazing places in NZ and, since they are shown on the offline map you can always get to them no matter where you are! I can assure you, it will enhance your visit to NZ.

Found this was the easiest to use nz camping guide currently available. Simple yet tells you all you need to find free or paid camping locations. Includes which locations are dog friendly.

The best app I have found for travelling New Zealand. In offline mode the app works really well. It has all the camps, and the activities we managed to visit from the app really made our trip.
