TabletTV allows you to watch your favorite over the air television channels anywhere you can receive an ATSC signal. When using your TPod and tablet in ad hoc (direct connection to) mode, you are not using any of your data plan minutes, so you can watch as long as you like*.

When you add the Home Network feature, the TPod and the tablet are then connected to one another by way of the router which in turn is acting as a type of bridge. Since the routers wifi radio is likely putting out a stronger signal than the TPod alone, this allows you to increase the distance between yourself and the TPod; for example if you have the TPod situated somewhere close to a window and in the same room as the router, you may find you can watch from a completely different room within your home on your tablet, so long as you're in range of the router.

When you do this the state of the TPod changes to that of a client, and thus when observed on your network connections screen will show an "out of range" status, and will not be a source that you can connect to.

So in order to "normalize" the TPod to use it in ad hoc mode again it has to be reset. That requires a sequence of button pushing using the POWER button while the unit is turned on. You press it 3 TIMES, and then on the 4th press you hold it IN for approx. 3.5 seconds, and then release it. If the right hand side LED turns from green to amber (and then back to green], you have successfully reset it and you will be able to connect to it directly from within the network connection screen on your android tablet. If the LED stays green, then you didn't hold it in long enough on the 4th button press and you will have to try again. If it goes out, then you held it in too long and will have to turn the unit on again and try once more.
