About Ford GoBike
Ford GoBike has thousands of bikes at hundreds of stations in San Francisco, San Jose, Berkeley, Oakland and Emeryville. Best of all, it’s available 24/7.
Ford GoBike consists of a fleet of specially designed, sturdy and durable bikes that are locked into a network of docking stations throughout the city. The bikes can be unlocked from one station and returned to any other station in the system, making them ideal for one-way trips. People use bike share to commute to work, meet friends for dinner, or simply cruise around and see new sights.
The Ford GoBike App allows you to purchase a pass, unlock a bike, and ride right away.
Within the app, you can purchase a Single Ride, a GoPass (unlimited 3-hour rides), or an Annual Membership. You can view all station locations, view the number of available bikes and docks, and save your favorites for later reference.
Need a route suggestion? Simply tap a station pin or location and the app will show you the best route.

Couldn't create account at first, it failed at the purchase screen. I tried creating an account on the website and it says password needed to be less than 15 characters. I went back to the app and was able to create an account (which doesn't happen until all steps--including purchase--are complete).

I can't sign up for an account in the app (it displays an error after I finish the registration process). I've tried 3 separate times on different days. The app is completely unusable since I can't register/log in.

fyi, I signed up for the GoBike on the web so this is mostly a kudos for the experience after that and using the app. Great job especially with the notification after the bike is docked and summary of past rides. I have no need for a personal commuter bike anymore!

Good bikes, good system, only locking can be tricky. Make sure you see the green light when you lock or your reservation will not end!

So glad to see the system back up and running and the expansion beginning. So much more convenient than bringing my own bike and figuring out where to park it at each restaurant/workplace/event/etc.

Great improvement! Would be nice to have the option to not have to dismiss my riding stats twice every time I relaunch the app. I just want to see the map and get going. I know how to access my stats if I ever want to see them.
