The vast number of push notifications that you can't effectively tone down are really annoying. I'm left with the option to get 3-5 useless notifications a day, or to block all notifications from Android, which means I won't get notifications on important items either. The custom UI sliders and switches don't work as well as the standard Android ones, and the app is super pushy about connecting to all your social media accounts, which is a clear sign that they're mining your data for all it's advertising value.

Great APP I use it all the time to find potential clients. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for additional income using the existing skills they have.

Ok. I decided to give this a shot. Download was easy. I signed up with false information on purpose so I could see the app features before submitting my real info. This was done also because I read many reviews about scammers. The features on the app seem user friendly and also seem self explanatory. Like most other gig apps there are filters and ways for you to tweak your profile so as to attract the clients you want. I figured I'd go ahead and sign up with my real info, but when I searched the app to be able to close the account, there was nothing. I eventually found how to do it within the FAQ section. It suggests a link which I pressed and repeatedly got an error message. That for, me, is unacceptable. Imo, closing an account doesn't have to be difficult in any way, including having to use broken links or having to contact them through email. Why can't closing the account be as easy as opening one? Especially since I have not added anything to my profile. Second, I pressed on chat, thinking it would lead me to a support rep. Nope. Their chat feature is to reference past chats with other moonlighters or to start a thread with one. I'm pretty confident that every other chat feature that I've used over the years, across different web sites as well as gig apps, the chat function is reserved for support. I get that there should be a chat feature between moonlighters and clients, however where is the support chat? I'm rather disappointed with the initial experience, I was left thinking I have to jump through unnecessary hoops to close the account, and support, it seems, is not an easy thing to get to. I'll revisit in the future, but for now I have to write to them to close the account.

Company actually values input from users. Might be a startup to watch. Not wildly used in this area. Going to watch over 3 months and update accordingly.

I've used Moonlighting for over a year now and while I really like it, the last version was a little buggy. New version is a lot better.

Jobs posted are usually garbage. Tried to turn off alerts many times and it still keeps pinging my phone. Also, the jobs listed are normally for way lower rates than they should actually be on the real market. Not useful.

Out of curiosity I downloaded the app since I am currently an unemployed computer programmer and wanted to see if I could find anything on here. Some things I noticed when I filtered for jobs only; there are no options to sort the results, the only way to see how old it might be is to look at comments....if there are any, there needs to be a time limit on every post as I saw a couple that had comments from back in May and are more than likely complete by now. Good attempt so far, though.

I recently connected with the Moonlighting team to promote my freelance writing and social media consulting services. They have been incredibly helpful with their marketing. They also check in and offer advice when I ask for it. They have been nothing but helpful, and I fully recommend them to anyone who wants to promote their business. I'm also excited for Moonlighting's new partnership with USA Today. They are a great national newspaper that serves people with great, detailed, information. This new partnership will serve people well.

Decent concept for freelancers and people trying to make a few dollars. Can't seem to get the messages tab to load. Click on it and it locks up the app, causing you to force close the app.

I can fill out the information, preview (sometimes, since I've filled it out about 5 times) but cannot get it to post. Seems like a great idea, but it's frustrating trying to set up your info.

This app is ok. The interface of it is a little difficult to understand. The placement of the buttons of the app are also in weird spots in the app. When I use the filter to search for just jobs it does not filter it. It shows me both jobs and people for hire.
