Vulkano Player

I'm long time user and big fan of Vulkano. However, I am getting very slow speeds on remote viewing (300-500 kbs) but should be getting much higher speeds. I'm running Android Kitkat 4.4 on Samsung Galaxy S5 on AT&T LTE network with avg LTE data speeds of 5 Mbs. My router is Asus AC-68U with home internet speeds of 15 Mbs. Please update app asap!

When you make a claim to free tablet player support you should actually HAVE a free tablet player that works for everyone even if it has limited functionality. Forcing people to buy the paid version to utilise any of your services is a serious rip off.

Like the other reviews, I have Vulkano at home but am forced to buy the app to watch my home tv.

Never had problems until my phone upgraded to Android L, now can't connect

I have had this for over 5 years now. I am in love with my Vulkano-- especially when i am traveling. I can plug in my Mac to hotel TV, load up my DVR and watch my saved shows or regional Sports teams with no problem. Vulkano is awesome!

Was working fine before on KitKat. Now I upgraded to lollipop, it says "unable to play stream, please try again"

i installed the app on a Pixel C. The software says I need to buy a player that will work with my tablet.

EPG not working anymore since Android 5.1

Great apps

Not quite a 5 for watching sports gets blurry in some action, but like it very much. Better than Sling.

The makers of this software didn't have to make this software compatible with their old Hava Monsoon devices. They did anyway and I couldn't be happier. Pretty good video and audio streaming (not better than the Slingbox in most categories, but doesn't encrypt On-demand programming). Sideloaded to Google TV to okay results (I can't criticize much, it isn't intended to be used on GTV)

All the people that say this does not work are reporting a failure of their own doing. I have tested this app on all major new devices and it works perfectly. I am one of those guys that buys the latest lollipop cutting edge devices and can tell you it works perfectly. If you have a problem with this app it is your own doing.

I bought the "older" Vulkano Pro several years ago so I would NOT have to purchase the Flow/Blast app. Now, all of a sudden, it's telling me that I need to buy the Paid App! Thanks for the (now) useless box! I've dealt with how Buggy the box and app have been, but now I can't even use it! I've emailed support and if they can fix the problem I'll fix my rating.

So apparently they have done something to make the app even worse than it used to be. Now it just buffers constantly to the point that what you are trying to watch is unwatchable. I would never buy their products again. Downgraded from a 3* to 2. If they don't fix the buffering very soon I'll downgrade to 1. Such a waste of about 250 bucks I have spent on their devices.

I have a Samsung S5 and I keep getting buffering...my iPad and iPhone does not have this issue. Please resolve the android app ASAP. You fixed the buffering issue with the paid version but I have a device that doesn't require the paid version. Why does it take so long to fix this version?

Can change channels through my pc, but not the phone. Been this way for a long time. JUNK!

Been using this same App for years with my Vulkano and now it wants me to buy the other app.

Now I get a message that says I gotta buy an app/player that will work with device. Now can't even connect. booo!

Needs a Chrome Cast option. I have great Internet (25/25) but still see some jitter and fuzz.

So the entire reason to buy the vulkano was the claim that it had free tablet player supported. Install the free player to get a message that free player not supported on this device please purchase the paid player. Got the same message for 2 totally different makes of tablet. So what tablet DOES actually work with your free player?

I don't know what's wrong the app used to work but now it doesn't on my gs5

I have tested it on Minix X7 and Minix X8 but pause/buffers every 30 seconds... Only on Android App...(PC and Iphone App works like a charm) hope a new update will be able to resolve this annoy issue... I returned to my Sling due to this issue...

Paid app?

I puchased my Vulkano Pro several years ago and it was sold to me with the understanding that there was no charge for the Android Player. That is an important reason why I bought the Vulkano instead of a Sling Box. I needed to reinstall the free payer and now it does not work with the Vulkano Pro. A message is returned that states that I now need to purchase the Vulkano Flow player. Up until now, I loved my Vulkano. This is just wrong!

Great app if you are entertained by a "Vulkano no found" message. I would need to be, because that's all I get. I know the name & password is correct, because I just set it up and it works on laptop. On my Android -- the app is useless.

Would give it 5 stars if it would also stream my DVD player. Easy enough to do since they already know how to send video and sound.

Got a new Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet and installed the player and it says I need to buy a Vulkano that will work with the player. I have had the way older version working on my old ASUS tf101 but the newest version just plain sucks

I was able to connect to WiFi at home and set up was easy. Then, I was on a trip and thought that the remote to control my TV at home was not like the old Vulkano. There were no buttons that was on the old Vulkano to control Flow (New). I hit button to change the channel and Flow would turn off! Then, I look at my programmable buttons and there were no buttons for the functions that I or you will need. Hope the next upgrade to FIX this ASAP . . . FAST!!!!!!

Love it and it works great but I wish you would allow for use of the HDMI output and the remote codes could use an update for newer cable boxes like the Samsung boxes that TWC is using now. Other than that, no issues. I have had the Titanium HD for several years and it is wonderful.

I love watching games i would of missed using this app at a wedding, traffic, not @ home. And when at at home watch while smoking a cig. Outside

Both versions work great the paid and free with the hava unit. But the paid app offers no better function than the free version. Only gripe is the poor framerate on streams. Its not my box its valkano that causes the poor frames. Idk it just seems to be 12fps instead of 24.

I used hava hd with vulkano player but the problem is live tv on vulkano does not start automatically when my device starts everytime ihave to click on live tv then only it starts pls fix autostart live tv will give 5 star thanx

Worked on RAZR, upgraded to s4 now is telling me I need the paid version. Please fix. Reboot of vulkano cleared the issue. Works like before.

It worked immediately once the settings were set properly. The flaw is delayed response time in changing channels. Not a big issue though Perhaps a new model with such an improved graphics card that it can send 1080p signal. I know I would buy it. :)
