About NEW UK Stamp Duty Calculator
From December 4th, new Stamp Duty rates will apply to domestic property purchases in the UK. The new system is estimated to benefit approximately 98% of home buyers.
Under the old stamp duty system, a flat rate was applied to the full purchase price based on a tier threshold. Under the new system, the rate you pay is only for the portion above the threshold, much like income tax.
Use this app to calculate how much stamp duty you will need to pay, and how much better or worse off you are. Also calculates stamp duty for non-residential and mixed-use properties.
Note that all rates are indicative. There are many conditions that affect the final stamp duty amount that you will be required to pay.

I like the feature that shows the difference with the previous taxation. It makes me feel better to see how better off I am with the new system. Maybe it would be good to add a column that shows the different percentages, as this app is unfairly poorly noted, compared to similar Stamp duty calculators in the playstore.
