About Beedee: Allegiant
"There will be peace when the people of the world, want it so badly, that their governments will have no choice but to give it to them. I just wish you could all see the Earth the way that I see it. Because when you really look at it, it's just one world."
It may have been Superman that said it, but that doesn't mean it isn't true.
Many recent world events have shown us that people want a change. The traditional mechanisms in which the world operates are being challenged with things like Brexit and the US election results. But these challenges fall short. People are choosing the unlikely choice, not because it is the best choice, but because it is the only alternative choice.
Beedee is the best choice.
In a world where one man with a billion dollar empire is the only alternative, there is a problem. People are making their voices heard with protest votes, but it is within a system where the few people with the majority of the wealth still set the terms. And that's not real change.
What is the concept?
The idea of Beedee is to create the voice and influence of a Billion Dollar Empire that anyone can access. It is to send a shockwave into the established way of doing things saying "we are taking back control".
So what exactly is Beedee?
Beedee is not just a social network, it is a network for social purpose. In a time of great discontent in the world, Beedee is an alternative, a message to the established way of doing things. We like to think of it as a new borderless nation of citizens who share a common wish to live in a better world.
How does it work?
Beedee is not Facebook, it is not crowdfunding, it is not an online petition. It is a place where people can come together, share views and gain access to real world resources. Citizens will get the ability to post and "Like" ideas of how to deploy Beedee's resources in the real world. Beedee will then assist in the real world execution of viable popular projects.
It looks pretty basic...
Yes, at the moment functionality is restricted whilst we build critical mass. Our aim at the moment is to build momentum whilst we work on more functionality.
What is the different between Citizen and Allegiant?
Beedee currently operates two models - a paid for model of Citizenship, and a free model of Allegiance. We want to reach as many people as possible who share our desire to make the world a better place, but we also need to raise real world resources. As the Beedee community grows, there will be differences in how Citizens and Allies can use Beedee.
Why do I have to pay?
To become a Billion Dollar Empire, we need to raise capital. The idea is that all citizens makes a small, equal contribution to the Beedee Treasury through an app purchase. The Beedee administrators aim to make those funds self-sustaining through reinvestment. The point is that more money does not buy more influence. One user, one contribution, one vote. Imagine a billion people each putting $1 to create one powerful collective voice of influence.
So is it a charity?
No, Beedee is a commercial enterprise. The real world is a commercial one, and a commercial voice carries a lot of weight. As a commercial enterprise, we also have the ability to invest our resources and grow our Treasury. We want to become self-sustaining. We don't believe there is anything wrong with the world of commerce, we just want it to serve the interests of the community.
Will I get funding for my idea?
It isn't that black and white. Beedee will support the execution of popular viable ideas. This may or may not involve the citizen in a role in executing that idea. Generally speaking, Beedee does not provide grants or funding.
