Need Cantonese

This is awesome. Get it!

My children and I are having fun learning chinese writing. The only suggestion I have is to include the Cantonese pronounciations as well (yes, Mandarin is the official dialedct of mainland China, but the majority of "overseas" chinese speak Cantonese as does Taiwan, Hong Kong, ...)

I love this app to help me learn the strokes in a Chinese language but occasionally (increasingly more often) it will freeze after I try to make my first stroke. It seems like the only way to fix it is to Uninstaller but then the work ive done is all gone... PLEASE FIX THIS!! I LOVE THIS APP!

Can't stand that it replaces the English translation of a word with 'Nice stroke'. For a while I literally thought some characters translated into 'Nice stroke'. They should place it somwhere else or not have it at all. Would've given it five ☆ if not fo this quirk.

A great way for the kids to stay caught up in their Chinese immersion classes!

This is an excellent app for learning the correct stroke order. Its worth the purchase. I would like to see an exam mode added one day.

OK, that's a riff on a Japanese Doge, but the sentiment remains. This app is very fun, easy to learn & I'm starting to see patterns. Also, the pronunciation & pinyin tools create a good learning experience :)

It's nice.. oh, nice.. it's sure very nice.. And I'd be glad to have this one.. for half a price..:-) *** Finally, I've bought it. Still it's too expensive. And it crushes getting to the last character of ''Eating out''. Please, repair.

It should have an extra level attached where it doesn't show the outline of the character so you can write it entirely from memory. This app is only really good for learning stroke order. There are much better Chinese writing apps available for free.

Help me get the entire version on my Samsung galaxy note 4 without having to purchase it again. It is already on my nook.

Rather than purchase individual language packs, I bought the full version. Only shortcoming is that it's missing Cantonese.

Not enough repetition for it to be super educational. Maybe add images for the word to. Either way, lots of fun.

Very good app ! thanks for the great work! Good tool for learning or practising Chinese Characters. Good ergonomics.There should be explanation on how the rating respectively gets done ( receive : 1 star, 2 stars or 3 stars ).one suggestion to the developer , it is better if there is option for 5 or 10 user profiles, so when my first kid is practising the writing and gets on all of the Chinese characters 3-stars ( the maximum ) nobody after him can make a legal try on practicing his or her skills . the other way to do it i have to remove the app and than install it again . Or at least there should be option to clear the previous skill ratings results, so somebody can try from beginning and gets objective evaluation of his (her) skills. ( review in Chinese Language [ 中文评价 ] : 很好的程序。加油。应该有更多免费的汉字。

Icon and app start screen make it seem like it's gonna be fun, playful and catered to kids, none of which it actually is and the monkey isn't part of the learning and there's no such, or any, theme at all. It's designed purely as a learning tool but there's not much content to make it more effective than just using a paper and a pencil. There is a shallow, broken, system of stars that are awarded depending on how you do but it's not really doing anything meaningful. One star is always detracted if you had stroke order showing, but you can show it and then turn it off just before you draw the symbol and you'll get full grade as if you didn't use the stroke help. You loose a star for making an error but oftentimes it was at fault of the app's recognition algorithm - even if you know order and know the look of the stroke you are about to draw, you'll often still not make it very good with your finger compared to with a pencil/stylus. When you've drawn a symbol, you can redo and just make it right which removes any feeling of achievement. There's very little content for free. Wish it threw some random and timed tests with like 15 symbols and didn't always show answer in background.

i LOVE this app. i think it would be awesome to have 'test mode' and remove the traceable shadow so i could really learn the characters by hearing the word and knowing the definition and then writing on a blank area, or maybe just an area for free practice. i hope you keep the radical lessons coming! they are very enjoyable. how about some grammar lessons? i would love to learn more about the language as a whole- more on the radicals,sentence structure, verb use, pronouns, etc. this app makes learning somewhat addicting because of its ease of use and simplicity. i cant wait for updates and/or additional lessons. definitely worth every penny i spent.
