Depart: London Transport Live for Android
best app I've used for tfl
Very useful. Accurate too.
What an amazing app! I thoroughly enjoy using the intuitive, easy-to-use and accurate interface. My only feedback is when in map mode and one hits the 'Locate Me' button (if double tapped) it may be beneficial to allow 'Following Me' feature which follows the user according to travel direction. This may enable bus users to plan ahead for any unexpected detours. Overall I really can't fault this app; in fact I shall not fault this app! Clearly the developers have put a lot of hard work into it. Marvellous!

Good
This app definitely made my life better and one of the reasons for getting a smart phone.
Takes a good 7 minutes to find my location and show me the bus stop I am standing at. Usually a bus arrives before the ap will work.
Doesn't work after a while.
Stopped working completely
I love this app. It's super accurate. Thanks.
Tested this app on a rainy day and the bus came exactly on time. First time that ever happened. Lol.
Installed on tablet. Tried to use it but it comes up with the message 'Your area is not yet covered,. The area is N London.
You've delivered half an app... I cant get bus services in my area (Thornton heath) and the national rail feature isnt active. Perhaps you should have delivered this as a BETA ??? Very poor
Was recommended this from a friend who helped test it. Impressive for finding bus stops, points you straight at them. Add trains please.
Duke
Bus stops have letters in busy areas. My nearest complementary pair are labelled E & N, but this app shows S (stop N, southbound) and N (stop E, northbound). The app uses the same white-on-red-circle as the stops' labels. More confusing, a few miles away, it shows J & Q labels! Either show direction labels in a different colour scheme for ALL stops or show the correct TfL-assigned labels, not a random mixture of both.
Nice.
This a really easy way to find bus stops and tube stations and see live departures. I would like to see some further enhancements (like how to find the nearest 100 bus) and have emailed the developer who seems really keen to enhance the app. Looking forward to further updates.
I dont like the fact the gps is always on!
Good but every Overground station reads "no known services at this time." Not helpful.
It's a great app but it doesn't have London Victoria station on it and would be great if there was a destination feature/ route planner!
Add national rail and tram update. Also route detail will be appreciated. It'll beat every other London travel app for sure then. You can make a paid version for support. Keep it up.
I love this app. It's super accurate. Thanks.

Nice.
In the filter option of the map it says 'National Rail' but when you press on it it says - 'Sorry, this service isn't available yet, but we're working on it. Please send us feedback if this is the service you need?' Tried that, got a response, and then - nothing. Apart from this 'MAJOR' fault the app works well.
Play has more then a dozen different apps specifically created to give commuters a good on-the-go information about TFL services, and I have to say Depart is by far the best one in terms of user experience. The design is slick and clean and therefor also pretty quick - exactly what a transport app needs. One suggestion I would really like to see implemented (although it's not critical - again, I think the quickness and cleanliness of the app is more important than most features which are not a big must), is that of line date. If I click a bus number in a station, the app can present the next stations coming up for that line, with the same arrival time information. That way, if I go on bus line 82 towards Victoria, I get to see the all the next stops, with approximately the time I'll get there. Hope this sounds right... :) Anyway, very good work and kudos to the developer!

Technology where will it end. Very useful and takes the stress out out of not knowing when or how long the bus will arrive. Bravo
awesome app.. simple yet powerful.. thats what technology shd be and thats exactly what this app does.. cheers to the developer...
Great app, does what I had to do in three different apps in just one. It's also fast and quick to navigate. I sent some feedback to the developer and got a quick response, some exciting features coming!

Great app just need to hurry up with dlr and add overground
Firstly it's great to see an app with such a clean simple design, which makes using it on the move a breeze. Finding a place to park my Boris bike whilst riding around London (after I found the one I wanted to put it in was full!) got me out of a jam. Combing it also with bus and tube information making this a very useful one-stop app.
Really useful app and nice design
Best one I found so far, very fast and slick. I wish it was a bit less map oriented, but it's still the most convenient of its sort
