Windows File Manager

Pls try and make it as a luncher, it will be nice, I know you all try its what I was looking for

Loved it when I installed it but the next time I tried to use it, it starts but no windows open. Tried removing and reinstalling it but no change.

Its really looks like my PC but a little improvement needed. I'll be thankful if you can make this a launcher.

I really liked this app as file manager and I will like it more as a default launcher but after fixing some bugs and adding some pritty cool stuff like desktop backgroung image and windows 8 or 10 like theme.

But it hasn't been updated in a while. Still, I enjoy the way this looks more than the standard Android template everybody else uses. You can even place shortcuts to your apps on the desktop and use it as a launcher; it just doesn't identify itself as a launcher to the system, which would allow live wallpapers. I can't even figure out how to set a wallpaper like in the screenshots.

this app is awesome, but a good wallpaper will do to make it more awesome!!

What if adding basic notepad just like in windows.. that would be nice... so not need to open other app..

One thing though, a simple fix, can we have a way of changing that tedious black background? I personally would like to change it to the bliss desktop image from windows XP.

Could be better if there was a way to change the background and font color and if a clock was added to the task bar. Otherwise, it's a very good program.

Make the name of the app (windows xp)

Add new features like a web browser and improve the looks

It can run windows on my android

but i cant open jpg or programms

I love it so much

This app is perfectly working on under 5 inch screen phones.

Now my default file explorer, but could use better mouse support, ie right click for context menu, and dragging files(s) into folders. You cant drag multiple files, and you cant drag directly into folder. But still less of a pain than the usual style. Cheers.

Some suggest run .exe -- This needs DosBox -- so if icons could load that with .exe name as a parameter... But that's the future, you know. I had to laugh, you know. This app is too cool for Android.

Computer file explorer better than it

Very nice attempt at making Android feel a little like Windows, but would like to be able to change wallpapers as others have stated and would also like an ability to start as a launcher. I already do this in an init.d script using ' am start -n com.monkeysoft.awm/com.monkeysoft.windows.MainActivity', but would be nice as normal launcher activity.

I think you should be able to change the wallpaper to...also if you want to shoot for the stars make it so you can opnen exe. files.Cool

Nice idea. Really appreciate the work. I want to put shortcut on desktop. Name internal sdcard as c drive and extsd as drive and so on. A my computer icon on the desktop......
