Monarch Airlines for Android
The boarding pass is not available offline simply because, if you reopen the app after disabling the network connection, you get this message "The Monarch app will only work if you have internet or a network connection". Before disconnecting from Internet, I did log in and get the boarding pass. I've installed version 0.27. Please add a proper offline mode for boarding passes. Thanks
Complete rubbish. Even after you have downloaded the app and loaded your boarding pass, the next time you use the app it needs to download again! Useless if you don't have mobile data. Then when I needed it to get on plane it just kept erroring.
This apps sole purpose is to give you a boarding card. Which it struggles to do, ended up massively holding up a queue whilst I tried to force the app to work. Shamefully poor. Don't download
First time using this App and it crashes on entering the 2nd persons check-in details. Had to enter all passenger details on the website but the App still wants me to enter them but still crashes on the 2nd passenger. So can't access the boarding passes. Hope i don't have a problem with this at the airport. Must say... Never had a problem with the Ryanair App so very frustrated and disappointed.
I booked my tickets a month ago and i couldn't retrieve my tickets on the app because keeps loading but you cannot log in. One month later still does the same. Useless app just works with internet
Try to open the app, it just tries to load, left it for ages and still does not open even after force closing and trying again, absolute waste of time. Please sort it out.
Please stop refreshing boarding pass every time I load it, as its loaded once should stay stored until I refresh it myself, sometimes data is not available so it messes up.
I love the opening screen spinning jet. But that's as far as the app gets. Doesn't actually open, so it sucks like a jet turbine
Non è possibile avere un'applicazione così schifosa. Si blocca in continuazione e non funziona a in modalità offline, nemmeno per mostrare i proprio biglietti all'imbarco. Fate qualcosa!!!
Worked fine until 20 the of April 2017 since then it loads forever and you never reach the actual app.
Bloody useless. I can't login via the app even though I know I have the right email and password. Sort it out!
App keeps crashing. Not able to checkin.Ticketless airline! Why dont you have the option to email your boarding pass? Puts me off flying with Monarch!
Downloaded app, tried to open the app, but can't, app needs Internet connection, but I've just downloaded app using internet. Useless.

Boarding pass disappears if flight is delayed. My flight from LEI to LGW on 28 March was delayed by 3 hours. I went through bag drop and security with the bp on the app, but some hours later went to the gate to find the bp had disappeared. Fortunately the gate staff were relaxed about it as there were others with the same problem. But what if they hadn't been? Who thought that programming it to delete the bp in these circs was a good idea? Why can you not d/l it to a device as with easyJet's bp? It wouldn't then require an internet connection and would still be available to show to security or ground staff.
The problem is it won't download your boarding pass to the app, so it has to be pulled from the internet every time you need to show it. This was a problem in WHSmith in the south terminal airside at Gatwick, where there is no signal on the Three network. Fortunately I had saved the PDF version of the boarding pass to my phone, so was able to buy a drink and sandwiches in the end (I have no idea why you need to show your boarding pass for that!).
Horrendously daft that the app requires an active data connection whereas whilst travelling it is common not to have one. Without one you can thus not access your boarding pass
If the flights delayed you lose the boarding pass. Dislike having to log in each time the BP is needed. Look to Ryanair for a better way to produce an app.
Ok - but you need to be online to show your boarding pass - which is a nightmare at a remote gate...!!
I'm having the same problems as everyone else..... Running Android 7, the calendar doesn't work properly, so can't book a flight. Will wait to see if you can sort this!
Tried several times to book a flight.Can't select flight dates. Every month after March, is April, April, April, April. Was hoping to book for June!! Deleted app. Reinstalled. Still same problem.
You cannot book flights more than 6 weeks in advance....

Very nice, I can see my boarding pass. But ONLY if I have an internet connection! C'mon Monarch, this is the real world, we should be able to download boarding passes for use without eating into data plans - just like the orange airline, or the Irish one! UPDATE. So, logged in the old fashioned way and there, below the "Print boarding pass" tab, is the message "Boarding passes cannot currently be accepted on mobile devices. You must print a copy out." Definitely no drumroll!
When I hear people trying to compare Monarch to Ryanair. I would recommend they take their grubby little obese selves back to Ryanair and make room for more civilised well dressed people to travel at a very reasonable price with excellent service which use Monarch.
It's a scandal that one can only check in within 24 hours of flight departure unless one buys a seat! We split our flights and the Monarch return leg cost us more than THREE times the Ryanair outbound one, where one can check in 4 days beforehand. Fortunately, our airport is one of the relatively few which accepts mobile boarding passes! The App looks clean and tidy, but simply doesn't do what one wants it to do.
Scandal that you can't check in earlier than 24hr before flight UNLESS you buy a seat. Then returning flight you must have a paper boarding pass... Because it's SO easy to get something printed when you're on holiday! Rubbish user experience
I'd give them a drumroll if they had a no star rating available for the app. This is the worst check in experience I've had EVER. I'd rather boil my head than use Monarch or their app ever again.
If I could give it no stars I would, Can now book but booking doesn't show flight time, only found out from My Gatwick app that flight times had changed. Have to rebook car hire.
Manchester airport does not accept mobile boarding passes? Why? Also, I cannot print out return b pass even though it's only 22 days to my flight. Why? Please update your website - outbound b pass printed but states you cannot using the mobile app. So what's the point of the mobile app?
Put simply ... It is not good enough. I hope they maintain the aircraft better than they do this app and the web site. Shocking.
Every time I launch the app it spends half an hour trying to load I don't know what and, after that, it is not able to retrieve my bookings.... Congrats Monarch
The flight was late, and so when the time of the flight passed, the app stopped showing the boarding pass. I was told to go back to do check in, horrible.

Don't trust this app with your electronic boarding passes. Always carry paper ones as backup. It switches automatically between online and offline modes and looses them. It also looses you booking information on the day of travel. My Samsung tablet has updated to android 7.0. This app no longer working. It just hangs on start-up and does nothing.
