Just finished the first lesson. I thought it was quite simple. The way they test you is really useful. I really can't wait until they load new lessons. Doesn't teach much about sentence structure, at least not so far.

This is useful for expanding vocabulary. I would like to see pinyin tone marks and a verbs lesson. Also, the small plate in household objects is translated to "disk" which is obviously wrong. It should be side plate or something to that effect.

It would be better if the voice speaks louder and breaks down how to say each word slowly. Otherwise its great. I feel like im learning somethings after a week..

Get assistance in learning basic word association, though all lesson should be free or the entire version should be paid for. Half apps are awful and information like languages should be free

This program was my first introduction to Chinese. The technique is amazingly effective. So I bought some more lessons. Ever since, I cannot get the program to open.

Its easier to learn Chinese withthis app than ther various others ihave tried. Thank you for finally making it easy to follow up on my word of learning when all else failed.

It helps but.. It doesn't exactly go into detail. It's just basic vocabulary.

It doesnt have pacing, so no need to worry about the teacher going to fast. Sometimes she can TALK FAST. But that rarely happens. All lessons i have seen so far are FREE.

My finance is Chinese and I have difficulty with speaking with were lovely mother, father, and siblings still so this app along with her personal lessons are just right for me... Xie xie. :-)

The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star is because the voice is not clear enough.

It only tests your comprehension, not your ability to speak Chinese. And I find the Chinese pronunciations can be too quick. But I do find the lessons fun to do.

Its an okay app the thing is it doesn't show you exactly how to say the words it just makes you repeat what it says and gives you a test

I have only taken the first test so I am not sure why they want my view already. However, the program is good but some of the verbal repeat of the words are so quiet I can't even hear them despite adding a sound booster. I will get thru it.

Take this course in primary that would be good and I stuck on learning Chinese so fun keep learn and keep test :)

You can repeat what saying and shows a picture

Some of the words don't play. This happened on the third word, which was fish. Since I do not speak Chinese, this makes the app not useful.

This is a good app. You'll have to practice the characters but the sounds help for when simply having a face to face conversation . :)

I am a lazy learner but I quite enjoy this ap, i think I have finally found something that works for my style of learning.

Good combination of pics and words. The sounds aren't always clear though

This app is quick easy and its awesome i loved it i just finished my first lesson and only missed three, granted i may pronounce the words wrong but hey that is part of learning a new language. Thank you very much awesome work keep it up!

Great.... I found an app that will yes h you the words along with pronunciation.

Very very simple to start me n clear words just one or 2 I found hard... Think that was me not the app!

I consider the absence of tones a slight inconvenience for a beginner, also the read voiceovers would be better if they were balanced, a good example could be "fish" from the very first lesson, barely recognisable as the others are played considerably louder. Other than that, great and light app,

Why so many people give high points? The displayed pinyin does not show the tones. Tones are essential for learning Chinese.
