Amrit Kirtan is a collection of shabads (verses) which are traditionally sung by Raggis in the Sikh congregations from:
- Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji
- Sri Dasam Granth Ji
- Bhai Gurdas ji’s Kabit
- Vaaran by Bhai Gurdas Ji
- Bhai Nand Lal Ji Kabit
Amrit Kirtan Pothi is used by Raagis to perform Kirtan and can be used by any Sikh devotee/ enthusiast to learn & understand Gurbani and its elaboration in the compositions of Bhai Gurdas and Bhai Nand Lal ji.
The application allows you to search any shabad by just entering initials of the shabad with space and allows inputs using English translation and transliteration. It allows you to search by Amrit Kirtan page number, by shabad or simply browse 113 chapters and pages from 65 - 1017 pages. This digital version also include complete Sri Guru Granth Sahib Sahib, Sri Dasam Granth Sahib, Bhai Gurdas Ji, Bhai Nand Lal ji bani.
App also allows you to bookmark your favorite shabads by tapping the star icon or email as PDF to anyone you want.
Guru Arjun Dev Ji emphasized the importance of Kirtan in one's life in the following words:
" Har keertan sune, Har keertan gaave. Tis jan dookh, nikat na aave."

Frequent updates will be provided for Shabad database and other features. Asa di Vaar is now separately available. Quite better than other apps. Much larger collection. There is a need of correction in the font in Bhai nand lal ji's bani. One request is that, add punjabi teeka of Prof. Sahib singh ji. He had made brilliant explanations to each and each word in guru granth sahib. I personally feel that teeka will help to understand gurbani more perfectly.

Please app more smoother with like animations and make app boot up animation faster. Also, if there is anyway to add a dark/night mode to the app. The main screen of the app is kinda wierd with everything on the side, and the search on top. I would have preferred a simple interface on the main screen. As this improve user experience. Otherwise, the app is great for casual and professional use.

Great and easy to use gurbani App. All ragis must download it. By including complete Guru Granth Sahib and Complete Dasam Bani it is much more than Amrit Kirtan Pothi. May Waheguru's blessings be with you all the time.
