Do It! Lite: ToDo & Tasks List for Android
Does anyone know of any Android todo app that displays a link to the email that was used to create the todo item in the GMail webapp? Nearly all my todos are created in this way, and not being able to get back to the parent email message is a fatal deficiency.
I've tried every Google task app for Android and Windows and this is one of the best. Note that I only use Google Tasks for notes and I use the task title to label the notes. I need an app that synchronizes well and gives me easy access to notes. This app has smooth drag and drop, fast synchronization, it shows you when it synchronizes and has a manual sync icon right at the top, a dark theme that also applies to notes. Here's the best part, it puts the notes above all other task fields besides title. This means no scrolling down every time I edit a note! I'd like if there were an option to remove the check boxes in front of the task titles. They should change Discard and Done to Cancel and Save. Annoyance 1 - It starts in Due Today view. You can't set this and I don't use due dates, so this is like a nag screen to me because I never have anything due. Annoyance 2 - You can't dismiss or disable the notification (that constantly tells me I have no tasks due today - FIX THIS PLEASE). A perk - Delete is NOT next to Done/Save. Too many task apps do that, so every time you save you worry about deleting by mistake.
Too basic
While nested list is good, no way to defibe priority.
Making the widget's font size customizable would be a great thing when using a small widget (either by number or 'small, medium, large') █ An option to disable the ongoing 'no tasks due today' notification would be appreciated █ Tasks with no due date are common, would be useful if added ▒ Other than those, really great app, only one I've found with scrolling and check-able widget (I love those two features)
Very useful for work
Love the slider drawer it makes switching lists a breeze
great use of google, first app i found that actually syncs more than just one list of tasks from google.. widget could use some work, but overall best google syncing task app i found
I have never found a good tasks app that ties in with Google's services before until now. It still has some kinks that need to be addressed, however it is a good app!
This app is beautiful, simple, fast, and efficient. Too often, developers ruin simple great ideas such as these types of apps by adding too many features and clutter. This app keeps to the basics of what you need to do, when you need to do it. Thanks for this awesome app

Great UI, but features are lacking. Lack of repeating tasks makes it a non-starter for me.
Wish the DashClock actually showed some of the tasks rather than just the number. Had a few syncing issues but still a good start.
I paid for premium so that I could the LIGHT THEME widget. Unfortunately the light theme STILL has large black bars at top and bottom. The widget doesn't follow android design guidelines with icons and menu button and font etc.
With the demise of Astrid, I've been looking for a functional, attractive replacement. This one approaches that perfection, but without recurring tasks, it still misses. Nonetheless a great app. Looking forward to seeing big things from it!
Just like others I came over to this app from Astrid. I like all the lists, but I find it frustrating that you can't see your COMPLETED tasks as alphabetical etc. When you select this it goes right back to the uncompleted tasks. I would very much like to see Priority and other options please. I've looked at buying the paid version but it doesn't have these options either. One item to fix is when you are making a new task, the time doesn't adjust to current time if it is past the time in your settings.
This app is not encumbered with too many bells and whistles. It keeps the lists I need on all the devices I use.
really wish I could get the hierarchy functionality to work. When I long press a task I only have the options to delete, move or copy a task. I have no drag and drop indicators :-(
It works on 2.3, but it depends on the Android 4 framework for the aspect, so in 2.3 it looks awful.
Great potential
The app is very good and beautifully designed, however it does have an issue I find frustrating. Tap zones for the boxes you are supposed to check are quite small. I usually end up tapping the task itself and end up in the menu.
The only issue is sync problems. Beautiful, simple. Chapeau!
I have been looking for a good task manager that will work with all of my GMail accounts. I think I have researched/installed so many other apps trying to find one that works for me. After working with the free version of Do It! for 30 minutes, I immediately came over to buy the Pro version. I bought it to support the developer on a fine product (if you like a product, spend a buck or two to say thank you. It might not make them rich but it might buy a late night pizza to eat while they are adding new features or fixing bugs) and to remove the ads. Keep up the good work and thank you for solving my multi-account task dilemma.
