محمد راتب النابلسي داعية إسلامي، معاصر، له دروس ومحاضرات في الإعجاز العلمي والتفسير، والمنهج العلمي والمعرفة، أشتهر بسلسلته عن أسماء الله الحسنى، وعن الشمائل النبوية. وهو رئيس هيئة الإعجاز القرآني، وله العديد من المؤلفات وشارك في العديد من المؤتمرات العالمية. يقوم كذلك بإلقاء دروس دينية في مساجد سوريا والدول العربية الأخرى. من مواليد سنة 1938م، وينتهي نسبه إلى الصحابي عمر بن الخطاب وهو من أسرة حظها من المال قليل ، ومن العِلم كثير ، فقد كان والده " عالماً من علماء دمشق ، وكان يدرس في مساجد دمشق وترك مكتبة كبيرة تضم بعض المخطوطات.
