Dot View Mods for One (M8) Key

I bought this cause the reviews I read said it was worth it. While it is an amazing concept it only worked for me for one day. It says it's used on stock dotmatrix but it only worked for me on updated dotview. Even then it only worked perfectly for one day, now I can only do swipes. Or the double tap to turn it on or off. It doesn't let me select anything. I've reinstalled countless times. Changed the dotview update. Etc. Nothing fixes it period. Will change rating when fixed.

Edit: Back on Viper and it is 100℅. So as others have stated it is a little buggy. I can no longer swipe up or down to answer or reject calls. Most of the time I have to wait for the call to go to VM and then call the person back. Opening the case do sent help as I can't get to the dialer. Great start look forward to updates. Running DH's GPE for VZW.

I updated the os from 1.7 to 1.8and now I can't get this mod to work and I want this back so bad!!! I will totally change this to 5 stars once I get it back!! Please help!

Please be careful purchasing this. Used to work ok, but app stopped working ages ago with no update or word from developer. Shame.

This is by far the best things about the M8 and makes the Dot View Case a million times better but after a couple of notifications popping up, the screen will stay black with the time at the top and no longer show notifications until I force stop the Dot View process. I see that I am not alone with this problem. I hope that it can be resolved and can supply logcats if wanted. Thanks for making another amazing app!

works perfect and instantly bought unlock key. snake is a bit laggy and not really playable but a good proof of concept. would love if you could expand this more and maybe add some info on how to play

It's been almost a year since the last update, this was nice while it lasted but it's not working anymore. Save your money.

Most of the major functionality for displaying notifications is there but navigating them is a disaster. Perhaps it was a recent update to the htc base some. Either way more more work is needed.

The developer has not addressed any of the multiple bugs over the last number of weeks. Other than this the mod is useful and I'm surprised that HTC haven't incorporated these ideas - 3rd party app notifications and music controls especially. When it works it's great, but it usually doesn't. When that changes I'll gladly 5 star this.

The apps doesn't work. The developer abandoned and update is no where near. Waste of money

To create an app for HTC, you need to keep updates coming when HTC has updates. Otherwise it is a buggy mess of garbage.

The author almost declined the support of this app. The numerous bugs are still in the app for already month or two. No feedback, no updates, no news.

Developer is not bothering with updating the app, only interested in taking our money. App is bug ridden and has been abandoned. Stay away from this...

I need a refound, I installed this app by mistake and now I can't see the refound option......help pls.

This is really a good idea but still some fixes are needed. And also,recent call history is not shown in my HTC one m8 after installing the app( I mean just like the stock HTC dot view). Can you please fix that?

When I input the contact number, it tells me to swipe up. However no matter how many times I swipe, it won't make the call. Please fix and update..

This would be a great app if the developer supported it. Very buggy app and causes the phone to freeze when you get a phone call.

Adds some pretty nice features to a cool but very limited dot view screen. The dev has released a new update on Xposed. This app will be receiving further support after all.

It's still early for it to be all polished, so just a few minor bug fixes/updates and it's full five stars.

First of all, it doesnt work with the latest version of the official dot view app. After downgrading that and enabling is app i couldnt believe the functionality this case actually has. Great work by the developer and thank you for this. However, this app, crushes/freezes after some time and you can only see the time and thats it. You cant use it until you restart the phone. The other bugs have already been covered by other reviewers but had to mention the crushing/freezing issue because i couldnt overlook that. Very dissapointing and annoying when it happens. Camera didnt work at all for me. I had to disable this app until the dev brings a better version. Updated to four star. The app is more stable since the update. Thanks for the compatibility fix.

Don't bother downloading this the developer has abandoned this project. It has had bugs from the start that have never been resolved.

Application has a dozen of bugs. Developer has not responded and have not updated the app in a long time.

Hasn't worked since last update. I mean absolutely nothing works. Nothing. Believe me I've tried everything. I know I waste more money on a candy bar but still...paid apps need to work. Period.

Had a lot of potential, but it just stopped working one day and the developer continues to ignore his thread about the module. Don't waste your money!

Project seems to be abandoned

It was a unique and useful app that really improved an already innovative accessory. It is a shame the developer has abandoned the project and abandoned his paying customers.

DO NOT BUY.Wasted money on a module that doesn't work. For it to work, you have to run an older version of the HTC Dot View app, and even then, it's very buggy.

Only partially works and the developer doesn't answer any questions.

Camera doesn't work for me and requires reboot if I try to use it, and there are constantly just minor bugs where things don't function properly, and require a reboot to fix. But I'm glad I have it.

This adds so much to the case. Wish there were more apps like this.

Used to be a great app. Worked well as expected. However, as some users have mentioned, the app had not been updated on quite and time and so there are some bugs. I'd expect these to be fixed before purchasing.
