나와 다른 외모의 친구가 나타났어요.
펑이라는 이름의 그 친구는 더운 지방에서 비행기를 타고 왔다고 합니다.
모두가 그 친구가 이상하다고 왕따를 하네요
우리는 어떻게 친구가 될 수 있을까요?

꿈속에 바다가 얼었어요. 펑과 나는 버스를 타고 펑의 고향으로 바다위 여행을 합니다.

여행을 하면서 고래아저씨도 만나고, 애꾸눈 오리도 만나고, 원숭이 무리도 만납니다.
휴게소에서는 펭귄아저씨가 운영하는 분식점에서 오뎅과 떡볶이도 먹어요.
바다위의 여행은 너무나 재미있습니다.

우리는 과연 펑의 고향에 갈 수 있을까요?

우리들과 다른 외모의 친구들을 이해할 수 있는 방법이 있습니다.
그 아이가 사는 고향에서는 나 역시 이상하게 보일 수 있다는 거예요.
얼어버린 바다를 통해 아이들은 세상을 여행하고 세상이 다양한 사람들과 다양한 생각들이 함게 어우러진다는 것을 알게됩니다.
