Marine Mate for Android
Great app but VHF channel update for Tutukaka is showing 61 and should read 62.
Tide information for Marlborough Sux Frickn north islanders app lol
Tides at your fingertips
Loads all its app photos into your phone gallery. Bummer.
Everytime I open It will crash. Please fix
Make it work on tablet. Fix issue with images of boat ramps showing in picture gallery.
worth having
Great for information
Please add in wind speed and direction, as well as current swell. Maybe link to nowcast service so users can listen. Also consider link to latest stolen boats recorded by police, so boaties can spot or report suspected boats.

Excellent value
This could be good but it's been made for the bureuacrats, not for boaties. Above all, it should NOT rely on live data - preferably not even for its maps. On the plus side it has good safety and equipment info but those lists don't deliver what you need to get about and do stuff on a day to day basis. Also, it doesn't work in landscape and fonts are needlessly small for an outdoor-use app. Too much squinting...
Very handy and useful.
can't install states package file not signed correctly had it previously but would not accept update so un installed now can't install it at all please get it right asap
Easy way to access rules and tide info
Can not get on to phone
Everytime I open It will crash. Please fix
Works very well. Great app.
Great app!
Actually I like the app but keeps crashing on my s4 and the boat ramp map has no key for what the coloured areas on the map are for or mean which would be great for people new to boating
Cannot sustain that level of consumption. So uninstalling until fixed
Havelock in the Marlborough Sounds has a 3mtr tide and a shallow entrance why is it not listed. Picton only has a 1mtr tide and no restrictions!
Sorry, nice app and useful for tide times etc, but it appeared to run the battery on my Android based phone down in no time. I loaded Wakelock Detector and found that this app must have been keeping my phone in an 'awake' state. Since uninstalling it the phone is back to holding normal battery charge. Hope the designer can overcome this problem. While I had the app on the phone I had WiFi off as well as all data services so it's a bit of a mystery. I was under the illusion that the app was standalone on the phone. At least I am now more aware of the fact the Android Wakelock is used by many other app designers.
A really useful quality app, a must have for anyone intending to venture out into the blue yonder!
So far this is proving to be a very good app for the purpose of using my kayak in the BOP.
This could be good but it's been made for the bureuacrats, not for boaties. A 17mb app should be able to find boat ramps, mooring zones etc on the map around Christchurch & Lyttelton, it should be able to find them when I search for "Devonport" or "Wakatipu", and above all, it should NOT rely on live data - preferably not even for its maps. On the plus side it has good safety and equipment info but they don't deliver what you need to get about and do stuff on a day to day basis.
Perfect love the tide info
Awesome app, will be very helpful this summer. Would be good to have info on using boats in ski lanes.
Looks very nice and easy to use, great to have so many things in one app
Essential safety info at your fingertips.
Great

Not too bad, though being able to change the map to the Google street map would be a good idea - being able to see a satellite image of the boat ramp & area is good, but I'd like to be able to see the streets that access them as well. Maybe include a link to the relevant fishing regs for that boat ramp & area too?
