About Pivot Point Calculator
The main purpose of Pivot Point Calculator is to help stock or forex traders in trading to calculate pivot point, support, and resistance levels by input high, low, and close prices from the previous trading day.
Pivot Point
In financial or market terms, Pivot Point is the average of the high, low, and close prices from the previous trading day, then the support and resistance levels are calculated based on those values.
Third resistance (R3) = High + 2 * (Pivot – Low)
Second resistance (R2) = Pivot + (High – Low)
First resistance (R1) = (2 * Pivot) – Low
Pivot point (PP) = (High + Low + Close) / 3
First support (S1) = (2 * Pivot) – High
Second support (S2) = Pivot – (High – Low)
Third support (S3) = Low – 2 * (High – Pivot)
Fibonacci Pivot Point
Fibonacci Pivot Point has the same concept as Pivot Point, but it uses Fibonacci Ratios on its calculation.
fibo R3 = Pivot + 1.000 * (High - Low)

fibo S1 = Pivot - 0.382 * (High - Low)
fibo S2 = Pivot - 0.618 * (High - Low)
fibo S3 = Pivot - 1.000 * (High - Low)
