Gallery KK is an improved version of the Gallery & Photo editor app included on KitKat (Android 4.4)
Our goal is to allow any Android phone or tablet can enjoy this great gallery!
This app is also perfect for Nexus or Android One devices that have lost the classic gallery app with the last upgrade to Lollipop (Android 5.0). We are working on improving the compatibility to support more devices.

● What are tags? What is its used for?
Tags are keywords that you can attach to your photos to categorize and organize them. A built-in tag editor will help you to manage them quickly.
Use the Tags view to see all photos classified by tags. You can even import tags from the photos that you have in the gallery.
Tags are stored in the metadata of the photos and are not lost if you uninstall the app.
● What are the Action Buttons? How can I customize them?
Action buttons are two buttons that appear on the bottom of the full picture view.
You can customize these buttons from "Settings→Pictures→Action Button(left/right)" to assign your favorites quick actions (edit, delete, crop, rotate, ...). If you prefer you can disable them to better fit your needs!
● How can I move or copy files between albums?
Unfortunately we have not yet integrated this functionality into the current version.
Anyway, you can use apps from other devs that are compatible with Gallery KK, like “Gallery Folder Plugin” from "Tatuas Apps" dev: https://www.google.com/url?q=https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tatuas.android.gfp
● Why do you show ad banners within the app?
Ads help us to make money and keep working on improving and adding new features to the app. If you prefer you can remove the ads with an in-app purchase (“Remove ads”).
We use device identifiers to personalise content and ads, to provide social media features and to analyse our traffic. We also share such identifiers and other information from your device with our advertiser (Google Admob) and analytics platform (Google Analytics). If you use this app is understood that that you accept these policies.
The in-app purchase (“Remove ads”) also disables the share of info with our analytics partner.
● Why is requested the approximate location (network-based) permission?
On the Locations view the photos (if geotagged) are sorted based on your proximity to them.

Still shows hundreds of redundant folders on SDCard and doesnt sort by size. Please add the ability to move albums. Please allow sorting folders by size on SDCard. Otherwise a much better than Lollypop's new gallery app

Too many ads now! I don't want to show people pics with bloody ads, deleting after I finish this review. Used it for years. I'm using a better app with NO Ads! Can you hear me gallery KK. Adios!

The red gradient is pretty bland for a gallery/photo editor. It could be more..."artsy" I suppose? Really that's my only gripe with this app. Paid for the no-ad version (worth it) and everything works like a charm. It's simple, fast, and has your basic editing tools plus filters. My favorite feature is "Hide Albums". Protection from prying eyes!

Custom icons, custom cover images for gallery thumbs, ability to move items between folders... These 3 feature would get you 5 stars from me and probably others! Oh, and change your icon to something more up to date!

Wish it had a move feature to move photos around to other albums. I tried the gallery plug in but it only worked the first couple times then stopped. It won't move pictures to other albums.

It's worthless spending 50 rs to remove advts. If you uninstall and then reinstall it... The advertisement at bottom of the screen, regularly pop-ups whenever you open the gallary.

I like that it works just like the KitKat gallery, but I don't like that it looks just like it too. I'd probably switch to this if it had a Material Design theme, because although I'm a fan of Holo it looks horribly out of place on Android 6.x.

App causes my Samsung S7 edge on Android 7 Nougat to randomly restart. Took me a while to figure it out. Wish this will be fixed because Gallery IN was my go-to app for photos!

Hello! This is the only gallery I use but I am wondering why can't I make sperate albums in in the gallery on my own for certain pictures? Others do but I don't want to uninstall and lose my pictures by installing another gallery. Help?

I hide a couple galleries. That work ok. But then, after my phone reboots or the process is killed, it starts fresh as if it was never run on my device before. Otherwise, nice clean app.

This app violates your 4th amendment of the constitution. This app searches your photo/videos BEFORE they your videos/photos in their gallery. That is why it takes anywhere from a half hour to many hours to access the gallery when you want to access your photos and videos when you want to access them. You don't need/want to download this app.

The app itself works fine however, lately your ads banner is pushing very intrusive flashing ads that want to lock the screen claiming viruses are found before the app is installed. I have active virus and malware scanners running intercept any time the device is active. Subsequent scans verify no viruses or malware present. You need to filter your ads better. I will never install nor buy anything from intrusive flasher ads.

Gallery kk is the best gallery in opinion, but what is happening? Whenever I edit a picture and press save picture, the picture is just discarded and I'm left with the original. PLEASE FIX!!!

This by far a better gallery app than what came on the galaxy S5, the only thing missing for me at least, you can't change the lock screen wallpaper. The only way to change the lock screen wallpaper is by using the stock gallery app, however, it does allow the user to change the wallpaper once the phone is unlocked. If this could get fix and or changed where this app allows the user to change the lock screen wallpaper that would be very helpful.

Pictures saved to external sd card can't be permanently deleted thru this app. They reappear when the phone is rebooted.

I like it as one of my best apps cause it's means to me "King Keith Gallery" lol ;). But really it's one of my best app cause it has a edit program for pictures built-in. Thank you for one best apps. My Samsung Note 4 default gallery crashed and keep getting pop up "Unfortunately Gallery has stopped". I tried setting this app as default but it doesn't replace my android gallery default that's defunctional. Any suggestion how to completely uninstall the android default gallery. Love this app.
