Camera JB+ for Android
Installed this app and I absolutely swear by it on older versions of Android like 4.1.2 and back. I used it on a Samsung Galaxy S ll SkyRocket and they're none better.
Brilliant camera app, makes full utilization of an androids camera capabilities and is a must have, the only problem I have found which would be brilliant to have fixed is that the app crashes whenever I try taking a selfie with the mosaic FX on but everything else works flawlessly.
Just what i was looking for...a gallery i understood with a camera that does the job and has everything you need without the million filters and settings that get in the way...i just want to point and shoot and this app does it
Great!
This is a very nice and simple app.
Love the functionality of the app. Has a lot of the features that you would look for from a point and shoot phone camera. One thing that's missing is the ability to switch storage from the phone memory to SD card.
My phone is a Motorola Atrix HD running CM12.1: The good news: this app gave me back panorama mode (Google's camera app only gives you panorama mode if your phone supports high-res panorama mode which the Atrix HD cannot do.) The bad news: there is no option for selecting SD card storage! Hey developers: where is it? Fix that and I'll upgrade to 5 stars.

Does the job, but although i have Llpop 5.1 version there is no option to save the photos on the Sd card...weird :/
I first got this way back when stock cameras wouldn't save to external SD cards. Now I've got Lollipop on my S2 it's functions still come in useful. I like the focussing.
Camera crashes after a single photo since upgrade to marshmallow.
I just missed the macro option
This is a very nice and simple app.
I got really annoyed with Samsung and their crapware camera on my Galaxy Rugby. I tried an unofficial package of the Kit Kat camera but the video camera would freeze. Then I tried Camera Zoom FX...too cutsie with all the silly effects (losing confidence in GooglePlay Editor picks). I also wanted one camera app that I could use on my Rugby (ICS) AND my Nexus 7 (JB) but I was having a hard time finding a Nexus-style camera app for both devices. This camera app fit the bill. Works great, I now have common interface between devices. Launches quickly. No lag when taking photos. Very nice. Worth the price.
Camera worked great until I decided to look at the settings. When I changed the save mode to sd card I started getting a message about sd card not being found. This is a note 3 phone. Changing the save mode back to external does nothing, it is stuck on sd card mode and the camera won't take pictures now.
Fast and simple. Have a Z3 compact and Sony's own app is crap and super slow to load. This loads fast and is much more simple to use. Keep up the good work.
A good replacement for the terrible camera app that came with my phone. Note: to get this to work on the lock screen I had to "disable" the built in gallery app in the app manager.
Now I get a -505 play store error, on lollipop now. Was OK on kitkat.
This app not installing anymore on lollipop roms?
As in screenshot
False advertising in the pics on Google Play. It does not give an option to store to sdcard. Also, it'd be nice if you could set a different exposure as default.
The app should not stretch the preview image to fit the screen. When shooting in 2:3 or other aspect ratios that are not 16:9 there should be black bars to preview exactly what the final image looks like. This is why there needs to be a free trial version. Otherwise happy with the camera. Love the custom volume button.
The intuitive design and ease of use along with responsive controls and accurate focusing makes this one of if not the best camera app for the Android phones. If your camera is good and you need a better app than the standard, get this one. You will be pleased.
Simply great and somehow smoother & snappier than stock camera app.
Would have to be one of the best camera apps around. Been using for years. Still would like to see metering options though. Oh..and SD card option.
This is a very nice and simple app.
This is the only camera app that actually has the features it claims to have. Only downside is zoom doesn't work on my phone (Galaxy Reverb with Virgin Mobile)
The camera, the video portion, and the settings work better than most I've tried. However, FX locks up my galaxy note. I've sent two emails, but the developers don't bother to respond.
Would love it if this app included a low-light setting similar to what you would find in Samsung's camera app for example. It's very quick and takes very good pics in well-lit situations, but it's pretty weak in darker scenarios. Other than that it works very well.
Better than my default Samsung Galaxy Note 3 camera !!!
I used this camera app from 4.0.4-4.3 as soon as my phone updated to 4.4.2 I am told to insert and SD card. I already have a 64g card in the phone.
Well worth its cost, it performs very well and is very good. Adding photosphere would give this 5 stars
On galaxy note 3
I can't complain a lot on the sd card issue because it's kinda restriction from the manufacturer, but I must say that I really hate how the camera behaves when taking photos in a social app like whatsapp or line, after taking the picture, it doesn't preview the picture just taken to check how good or bad before sending it, instead it just carries on with the view finder and asks if I want to send the picture or take another, without showing the picture :/
I never could get the camera to work properly because of my old phone. Now I have a new phone, everything works good like it's supposed to.
Sent email because of massive data consumption (1Gb in 2 wks) by app! Background data was even disabled. Otherwise best camera app ever! Plz fix...
I liked this app when the save to sd card worked. It was functionally everything I wanted. I could finally take pictures without that silly camera sound! And the ui was slick. But now with the option to save to sd not even available I find this app extremely frustrating. #TLDR deal breaker: cant save to sd card.
Great gallery app, possibly the best on android
It looks like the latest update has broken SD card support. I'm on KitKat with a writable SD card, and it worked until the last update. Could this get corrected?

Well. I wouldn't call this the ultimate, but somewhat better than stock LG 4 install. The camera on my old Kocera Durascout was supreme. This app would be better if it'd reliably take a nmad picture when the blue button tapped. One time it takes a photo instantly, the next you have to tap it, tap it, tap it, oh what the hell, missed the shot. Go to lower the phone and it takes a blur. Would be nice if it had a burst mode as well... Then maybe would get a good shot.
