GeneDroid (Family Tree) for Android
There isn't any functionality. The HTML5 geni site is easier and more robust.
It sucks. No way to change view. Last names unviewable
It's quite good to view geni on mobile devices since geni still using flashplayer.
Need Stable and offline version
I hav yo build my tree
Its ok
downloading this app was pointless. you can't do anything can't add photos you can add people unless you go full online. Uninstalling!
Its ok
It doesn't show the names properly, if the hierarchy is more than 3 in a tree created. The Geni web site has more option. I wish they work towards adding those options s here.

Works great in Galaxy 5s
Easy to use??? If this version is easy to use I would hate to have been subjected to the first one.
But good UI. Not much here in the app really.
I can't even view my own tree. It shows error!
GeniDroid only shows one partner/spouse and gives no option to select another one. 'Current Location' is 'Place of Living'.. sounds strange to me.
Shouldn't even be available yet. Apparently still in early development. Waste of time...
Still only an early beta? All my ancestors display the same image - shades of 'Being John Malkovich'!
Displays spouses as siblings, code for location is messed up, photos connected to wrong profiles, hard to navigate. Use browser until official app.
Connection Error on X10.
Well, it is easy to navigate, but operating the program on my Droid 2 Global is a nightmare...screen freezes, can't type numbers to enter birthdays.
Contact sync is a nice touch! Family browser is slow and unresponsive at times but otherwise this is a good start. Would be nice to get notifications on birthdays and other events. Photo sharing would be nice feature to have as well.
Really good for Geni service users!
Desktop crashes on exit htc hero
The app shows pictures for wrong profiles. When I press a profile, another one opens. Everything seems to be mixed by random in a big mess.
Very nice
Can't even instal the app on my S2 Droid!! Error message (#500) comes up & others. Also freezes my phone so i have to reboot it, or take battery out to shut it down & restart. A shame because i really wanted to see all of the hard work & long hours, done by my relatives was accessible via a phone app, linked thru Geni website. I thought this would've been a perfect app!! Hope it can get up to speed soon. Regrettably very unimpressed.
First 927 error popped up and made my tablet slow. Than error 919 popped up 2nd download wow not wanting to re download again.
Needs much improvement. Doesn't have lines to represent relations. Zooming in and zooming out to be improved. doesn't show all relations. Will be good to have people listed in order
Not even worth it got it and started family tree through online page and hit another page by accident and soon as came bk to tree everything i'd did was gone"!!!!!!!!! Bad mood. Unistalling
Geni attempts to suck information from people, give nothing back, and then use that information for there paid members. There is little benefit of the free account to use it. The fact that I didn't need to make a password before I imput my family was a huge tipoff. You have to download Geni to use this app. F all of it.
So there is just me in my family tree, and I can't add people to it? Not very useful is it...
The online version is tremendously easy to use. The mobile app has some challenges. Double clicking on a link in your tree will not take you to the person selected, but you can link to the web from the app so that's a work around.
Needs a lot of improvement. Keeps sending me connection error and displays one picture and name for various relatives. Uninstall as of now.
I'd stick to the online version. This app was clearly not ready for launch.
Bidthday shown in Facebook profiles are 1 day late

Atrocious. I can view only three generations of direct ancestors, plus an assortment of great uncles that appear in random places in the tree.
