WordNet® is a large lexical database of English with up to 140,000 entries and more than 1.4 million words, developed by the Cognitive Science Laboratory at Princeton University.
Instead of following the standard dictionary format, the WordNet dictionary is organized with an innovative and convenient approach. Nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs are grouped into sets of cognitive synonyms, interlinked by means of conceptual-semantic and lexical relations. In addition to the straightforward definition the dictionary shows how each word is linked to other words in terms of synonyms, opposites and similar words, but also hyponyms and hyperlinks within the group.
The resulting network of meaningfully related words and concepts:

Tapping the magnifying glass icon to do a search closes the app. I emailed their support and they promised to correct the issue. I've talked to a number of their support and promises to issue a fix but until now there's nothing. I've even gave them a screen shot of what's happening and have done all their recommendations but this thing is just broken. If you can't fix it, just return my money back! You are just good at taking people's money. What a waste! Update: 12-May-2017 The home screen is now littered with offers to share the app with friends and the invitation to rate their dictionary. They have not provided a way to turn off these clutter. Their Settings have only 4 options. 1. Enable offline content. 2. Cache search index. 3. Word of the day. 4. Quick word share. This app is clearly veering away from its main purpose as a tool. It is now trying to become a social media app. What a waste! This has been alwasy a waste of my time and money! Uninstalled!

The widget's size is not adjustable as many times some words of the definition are not visible at all. Lags sometimes. Lacks themes. You should introduce a shortcut to access & read & copy definitions to & from other apps and browsers without switching.

Do what it proposes to do. Quick reference guide for every user of the English language out there. It is certainly worth a try. The only thing I miss is the pronunciation, both in British and in American English.

This is a good program that has come in handy time after time. It does not have pronunciation, which seems like a basic feature, and is the reason I will not be purchasing the app to remove ads, which are so annoying I think of uninstalling every time I use it, as it forces you to view an ad that must be closed before you can see the word definition.

Disappointing. The dictionary (content) just wouldn't load anymore when I search for the meaning of a word. All I see now is it looks more like a social media app with all its invite friends button. I just want a simple and user-friendly English thesaurus. :/ If I could give it 0 star, I would. A waste of space. Uninstalling.
