Collins Spanish Dictionary for Android
Kinda useless
Cannot find simple words such as eating. Rubbish don't waist your time or money with this app.
Love this dictionary, especially the word of the day. Very helpful but would love example sentences with the words so one can see how it could used. Really let's it down. Would be worth the extra disc space and/or cost, I'd say..
Recognize n as ñ too when making word suggestions - since most keyboards dont have ñ, it would be great if n is recognized too as ñ when the app suggests words we look for.
Why don't give refund option?
Got most of the answers you're looking for
Good.
Most words I need found. But it doesn't conjugate most verbs, and it often annoys me with a request for a review. I like the word of the day function though.
Very clear. Would be 5 if it had a conjugator
The dictionary is excellent but every time the app is updated the dictionary becomes more and more difficult to access. Typing in a word used to be easy and now it's a fiddly, overcomplicated faff.
Annoying pop up for a review. It isn't a 5* app - there is no speech option and sometimes need to use Google translate for missing words.
Has favorites section which is great for learning. Good search function. Would be even better if it had conjugations of verbs. Not disappointed but needs to evolve.
An add wouldn't come off the screen
Fabulous resource to have
This has more than enough basic info to be an excellent 'on the go' dictionary. However, why are genders missing from lots of nouns? And why, oh why does it demand repeat payments when you change your phone? Why also aren't there more examples of usage? Mobisystems support is really excellent, though.
Hopeless and deceptive"free" app. Won't buy it if it can't live up to the free version instead holding user for $10.00 ransom - buy!
Which are fem and masc?and do i really have to scroll entire list everytime i access the dictionary?!
Poor
Thats as far as it ever goes!
Lol for school
Having paid for the app, each time I've bought a new phone, I've had to contact Mobisystems to get an activation code. They're helpful enough but this shouldn't be necessary in Play Store. I won't be buying from Mobisystems again.
I changed my laptop and had to buy it again. I have just changed my phone and it is asking me to pay again!!!!!! What a cheek! It is the same fro the French one.
I wish I COULD RATE IT ZERO! STARS
Worst
Ok, you pick up your phone and tap on the dictionary app icon -- why? Because you've got some word to look up. So why does the app start with the home screen with the list of the entries that begin with A, instead of focusing on the search box? The dictionary is fine, but there's no idiom search, no conjugation tables, no support with conjugated verb forms.
I wanted to put in a sentence and I would translate the whole thing
It has been very useful in my Spanish studies at home and in Spain. If other "reviewers" spent more time learning and less time moaning then they might gain some benefit too.
This app seems to get a lot of stick, but I really like it. The definitions are comprehensive, detailed and high-quality, and the app itself works well.
Thats as far as it ever goes!
7 day trail. Full use is $9.99. :{
Best Spanish dictionary available for phone
To expensive, should be at leat like 30 day trail,,,it does sucks
Excellent!!!!
Nice
ONLY FOR BASIC USAGE
Straight sucks
Its not even cool boring !
Might have thought about buying app if it didn't pop up 4 adds in less than 2 minutes.
I thought this app was mediocre at best. I was definitely not impressed. I would not pay money for the full version. I did find one called the Talking Translator, however, and that one is absolutely phenomenal. Good luck y'all!

There is nothing wrong with the actual functionality of this app. My rating reflects one incredibly annoying and inappropriate behavior: It keeps coming up with an alert with only two options: (1) Rate 5 stars and (2) Not now. There are two blatantly obvious problems here. First, it should be up to me how many stars I want to give in the rating. It is beyond presumptuous to say that my rating has to be 5 stars. And equally obvious, there should be a "not now, not ever" option, or perhaps a simple "Don't show this again". What we're left with is that the app will keep haranguing me unless and until I'm willing to give it a 5-star rating. The implication is obvious. Any 5-star ratings for this app must be considered highly suspect. Google seriously needs to pull this app until such time as they learn to clean up their act.
