Why do I need to buy a license for this? There are ads already, what's with the extortion? I don't even pay for games, what makes you think I'd pay for this? Wikipedia doesn't expect my money and already tells me the Latin roots anyway.

I really do like this app. I paid for the Pro version and it works well. I've decided to rate it one star because it incessantly (from cesso, cessare - to hold back; in + cessare = without holding back, i.e., assault, attack) asks me if I want to rate it five stars, even though I did so years ago. So, MobiSystems, here my rating sits with one star sits until my paid-for app stops bugging me.

I like getting the word of the day. But why doesn't it just automatically add the definition of the word of the day? I don't like having to look up the meaning of the word if it's right there in front of me it would be great if it was automatically displayed.

Annoying to work with, every five seconds I get the wrong translation for a word and an ad pops up. Not helpful. Google translate is better than this dictionary and you can't use it offline which is bad if im in a foreign country and can't use data.

EVERY time Android updates & most times when this dictionary updates (& sometimes when the phone reboots) this AWFUL app reverts to 'trial' version with NO DAYS LEFT. FIX THIS PROBLEM (& send me the password again; I've lost my record of it)!

This site is great because it includes macrons, unlike another latin dictionary called SPQR. So if you need a complete word you can get it.

I've been a customer since 2009, and have bought about 10 dictionaries. The app then was basic, the customer service excellent. In recent years the app has been made worse, with permanent upsell wasting screen space, useless frills like Word of the Day, and little improvement to basic function. Customer service continues to be polite, but I've had no response to my many suggestions for improvement. The in-app Rate App function only offers a 5 star option!

The app is great overall, but when looking up verbs it should have more infinitive forms listed. Its frustrating to tap infinitive verbs and get no results.

Collins Latin Dictionary is a handy concise reference and draws on the latest scholarship. MobiSystem's dictionary app makes the most of it for quick and easy use.

Having previously bought this app for the full price, I now find the version I bought renamed and a watered down version of this.. for which I would again have to pay again. Unless I have misunderstood, this is a horrific business practice. What a shame, as this update looks lovely. Unlike the outdated app with which I am stuck. That will be my last collins purchase if this continues.

Although the developer says this is a "fully functional trial", after 1 day this ap is useless. The fact that the apparent 24-hour trial period isn't mentioned is misleading at best. This might be a wonderful ap. But it wasn:t useable anywhere near long enough to see. Unexpectedly having it become inert without warning after such a short period of time is ridiculous and not terribly professional.

The app tries to ransom itself to users. I normally like to buy apps, as I hate ads. But this app just demands money to work. Well I'm not paying, so I guess you'll just have to start sending body parts next. Don't call your app free if it isn't. Don't bother and harass people you want to buy your product.
