The quality of the dictionary itself is excellent, with entries frequently including helpful common phrases. However, there are a number of deficiencies that need addressing: 1. The "Language in Use" guide is missing, so the description of the dictionary (which was presumably copied and pasted from the description of the physical book) is inaccurate. 2. The entries provide information about genetive and plural noun endings, but the app itself does not actually provide a guide about how entries are structured, meaning that you have to work out these things for yourself (e.g. "Stadt" displays "Stadt, f, -, ºe" to indicate that it's a feminite noun, does not change in the genetive and that the plural requires an umlaut and an 'e' at the end, but there is no key provided to describe this).
Glad to see this comprehensive dictionary on Google Play. Would like to see the 'Language in use' supplement included in this version, but can't find it on the menu, so it was probably left out. That and a few other quibbles, but I'm giving it 5 stars because I'm very satisfied with the overall product. Would also like to see CU versions of Italian and French for Google Play.

In the IPA transcriptions, words like "bug" have nonstandard renderings such as [bög], and the word "raised" is found where a word needs a superscript, e.g. ['bögərraised]. Amateurish.
