Do we need a community app for professionals?
During my career, I have worked with various MNC's. Apart from friends, one thing that I miss the most is the internal company portals. It was much easier to find house for rent/sell, used vehicles, etc listed by the company people. It was useful for everyone. The more employees a company has, the better it gets. I always wondered why there isn't any common portal where employees of all the companies can list their requirements. That would be really powerful. Since no one created it, we decided to build it and hence the CommonBoard.

Of course there is OLX, Sulekha, 99acres, magicbricks, etc, but it is very hard to find what you are looking for. Also, most of them are filled with agents and irrelevant information. CommonBoard has an advantage that all its members are professionals and can be trusted to provide the right information. If not, you can simply leave an authentic review for them via comments.

What is the vision with CommonBoard?

The way I imagine,using CommonBoard, professionals should be able to achieve the following,
1) Find house on rent/sale without brokerage listed by the members of the community
2) Find used vehicle for sale without brokerage listed by the members of the community
3) Find partners within the community to play TT, badminton, Tennis, etc and get introduced to new people. For knowledge workers, there is no better way to relieve stress and learn something new.
4) List/find business that are started by the professionals within the community. Deep inside every professional heart, we have found an urge to become their own boss and we want to help in whatever way we can. The professional community needs a lot of different kinds of services and there is ample of opportunity to start something new.
