Day1

Day 1 was born in San Diego, CA and was raised in the National City and Southeast area. Southeast San Diego was a lil harder than National City but Day 1 pulled game from both sides of the city.
He had the love for music at a young age. He liked dancing for his mom’s friends when she had parties and sang outside while hanging out with his friends.

It was about 1993 when his boy Boo asked him to join a group called Prhyme Suspect and when his love for music was realized. Day 1 loves old school music and gets his inspiration from everyday life experiences. Day 1 has featured on music with Rankin Scroo of the Bay Area and a host of artists in San Diego County. He makes feel good music that makes people want to dance, sing and just ponder life in general.

Day 1 currently linked up with Full Throttle Ent. and has a host of new music on the way including an anthem sure to set the city (San Diego) on fire titled “These Lights”. His style differs from most of today’s rappers & you can look forward to a lot of great music from him in the days to come.
