"Cold War Museum"

The barracks complex of the former USSR army is located near the village. The complex was located at the end of the 1960s with Soviet nuclear weapons designed to be transmitted and used in the event of war by the LWP - one of the three in Poland (special unit 3001 , the others were located in Brzeźnica-Kolonia Jastrowia (No. 3002) and Lake Buszno near Templewa (No. 3003), possibly nuclear weapons could be transported to Szprotawa-Wiechlice Airport). Weapons were withdrawn before the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Poland in 1993. In 2005 the facility was handed over to the Prison Service and a detachment of detainees was established here in Koszalin. Since 2015 the facility has taken over the Museum of Polish Arms in Kołobrzeg, which opened an exhibition "Cold War Museum" in September 2016
