COLAC es un organismo continental que tiene como objetivo la representación, el financiamiento y la asistencia técnica de y para el movimiento cooperativo de ahorro y crédito.
Visión

Ser una institución de reconocido liderazgo por su contribución al desarrollo del movimiento cooperativo y su apoyo al proceso de crecimiento social, financiero y organizacional del sistema cooperativo de ahorro y crédito latinoamericano.

Misión

Contribuir al desarrollo integral del sistema cooperativo latinoamericano, por medio de una estructura de servicios y metodologías estandarizadas acorde con las necesidades del mismo e impulsada por un recurso humano comprometido e identificado con la Institución.
